She has definitely accommodated our needs and wants for our very special day. If you have a questions she replies promptly and gives you the best advice and wants to hear what you think. No sugarcoating when it comes to her food! Definitely couldn’t have picked a better catering company. I’m sure this won’t be the last time we use her services :)

Michelle with Southern Cadence Cuisine was so sweet to work with! She was very hands on and always responsive and knowledgeable with any questions and/or concerns I had while planning the big day. Her food was beautiful and so yummy! We love Southern Cadence Cuisine.

My experience with Michelle, Southern Cadence, and chef Oscar was fantastic. We had originally wanted them to do the reception food for our wedding, but we ultimately picked a vendor that didn't allow caterers, so we had to switch gears and decided to have them do our brunch the day after the wedding at our house. So next was the tasting. The food... Oh.. my.. goodness. The Southern Belle shrimp/grits and the chicken/waffles (infused w lavendar) were delicious!! And the deviled eggs w fried oyster - yes please, bring me a whole tray!! We tried a few other items too, carne asada tacos, fried churros... there wasn't one thing that I didn't care for; so it was hard to pick the menu for sure!! I love to eat and try really good restaurants so I think i have a decent palette. And I will say loudly that EVERY last thing I tried was so good, it was all cooked with care, you could taste every ingredient, the flavors were layered and complimented each other perfectly. And the plating... I love their plating!! She and chef Oscar were both there, and they were both so warm and friendly and welcoming, we felt right at home, like we were having lunch with friends. And let me tell you, you will leave that tasting full full, in the very best way. I was so excited for the big day! Then came Covid... so we had to push our date to October, and she took it all in stride, we switched up the dates, all good. Then Covid resurged and didn't go away, so we made the hard decision to cancel our big wedding altogether and we moved to a minimony concept. Again, she pivoted right along with us and we planned instead a small small dinner at the house, some passed apps and stations, and sit-down dinner. Michelle is gracious, accommodating, and kind, yet fair and honest, things I very much appreciate when work with folks. Give it to me straight! She even got down to the details to help me design the dinner tablescape. My family absolutely loved her and her team when they came to the house for our dinner. The food was impeccable, and everyone just loved how it tasted, how it was prepared, how it was served, and the attitude of the team was just outstanding - really felt like they were celebrating with us and were as excited for our day as we were. All this to say... I would not hesitate for even a microsecond to work with her and her team again, they will make it that much more special (and DELICIOUS)!! Support this small business, you will not regret it!
