An upscale, lakefront wedding venue in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, South Wind Ranch is located just 15 miles north of Greenville. An extraordinary location to celebrate your big day, this venue is surrounded by natural beauty but is close to all the luxury amenities you would expect to find in the city. Ron Hakala, the owner of South Wind Ranch, has more than 35 years of management and special events experience, and he and his talented and professional team use their creativity and attention to detail to ensure your event is a magical experience you and your guests will never forget.
Facilities and Capacity
This stunning, spacious venue features two ceremony sites and a celebration pavilion/barn. The ceremony sites include a lovely hillside chapel that overlooks the lake and offers splendid views of the North Carolina mountains. The second option is the South Wind Ranch Island, which boasts a walkway bridge to the lake island. This island offers amazing views and backdrops for photos of your big day and can accommodate your wedding party while guests enjoy the view and the ceremony lakeside. The celebration pavilion is a climate-controlled barn on the lake with a large patio that can seat up to 300 guests. This beautiful space is surrounded by trees and provides incredible views of the lighted trees lining the lake. South Wind Ranch also features a comfortable bridal suite, complete with mirrors, parlor chairs, and plenty of outlets so you can get ready or relax before your special day.
Services Offered
South Wind Ranch can host wedding ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, engagement parties, and rehearsal dinners. Set up services are offered to keep your day running smoothly. They also provide parking and special transportation for handicapped and elderly guests. The venue has wireless internet so you can share your special day even with those who couldn't make it. For bar and catering services, South Wind Ranch works with several exclusive vendors that you can choose from for your event, each of whom is carefully vetted and meets their standard of excellence.
