Grounds

There is no home like Someplace. As your private residence, you are invited to enjoy all aspects of your secluded estate. The Mount Rose Estate is the brainchild of Italian fashion icon Dominick La Valle, and features a ballroom, a speakeasy, an oversized pool, a luxurious cabana, a secluded gazebo, and carefully manicured lawns and gardens. The Spanish-style Mount Rose Equestrian Arena faces west and overlooks the valley, making it a perfect spot for a romantic sunset dinner. The Mount Rose Equestrian Arena has indoor and outdoor grounds with stunning views. The Spanish-inspired barn is a classic backdrop to any occasion, while the open-air arena enables you and your guests to enjoy the beautiful moonlit vistas. The brookside valley to the west is straight out of a Tuscan postcard, surrounded by vineyards and orchards.

Reserving your estate

Each estate in the Someplace Upstate collection is offered on an individualized seasonal basis, with a lease tailored to your specific vision. Guests are welcome to personalize their stay by bringing in their own chefs, planners, musicians, or vendors to support any gatherings they may host during their lease term. While Someplace Upstate does not provide event services or packages, the estate’s groundskeeping staff are available to support the seamless integration of vendors into the fabric of the property or even recommend the best-of that the local community can offer.
