Owner Joe Hennes and his wife Ellen purchased the building in 2020 and transformed it into the stunning venue that stands today. They renamed it Smoke on the Water to reflect their smokey BBQ menu and, of course, the location. The newly renovated lower level is their primary function room. It is a rustic-chic space featuring exposed metal pipes and industrial-style lighting. It also boasts six garage doors offering breathtaking views of the water. Their dining setup is casual and relaxed, with a mixture of round tables and bar surfaces accompanied by high stools. After dinner, you and your guests can relax in the adjoining lounge with magnificent stone fireplaces and comfortable chairs. For your evening entertainment, you can stay below deck or move upstairs to enjoy live music on their covered raised patio in the open air. You can also take advantage of the stunning scenery for your couple’s portraits, perhaps even making a grand entrance straight off a boat.
