I wanted a unique wedding ceremony setting that would go along with my vision for a vintage/Victorian style wedding and reception. I found the Slifer House Museum in Lewisburg, PA, and living only a town away had never noticed that it was there. The museum was beautiful and what I was looking for. We had an outside ceremony which was able to accommodate a lot more people than inside. The pictures I had from the wedding were amazing and all of the trees in the lawn and out back made for great wedding pictures. I worked with the director Jessica Owens, which was absolutely great. She was very accommodating and open. We were also able to get some beautiful pictures with the wedding party inside the museum as well. Weather permitting, my outside wedding ceremony was perfect and I was surprised that there haven't been more weddings there for people looking for a church alternative.
