We planned a simple vow renewal ceremony on the beach for my parents 50th anniversary while we were stopped at port during our cruise and everything was beautifully planned and the ceremony was flawless! They even planned transportation for us from the port to the beach and back for our group of 13.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day, and it’s all thanks to Tanja! From start to finish, she made everything absolutely effortless. She set up the most beautiful ceremony right on Simpson Bay Beach, and coordinated a wonderful photographer and officiant—both of whom were incredibly kind, professional, and made us feel so comfortable.

What stood out the most was how easy and stress-free the entire experience was. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing, which allowed us to be fully present and soak in every moment. Our day felt truly magical, and it’s a memory we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives.

From our first conversation I knew that Tanja was who we needed to help and handle our destination wedding held at Sonesta Maho Resort. She has the knowledge and experience to help with every aspect which is and is not included with the resort. She knows the personnel, the grounds and all the offerings available to choose from.
Most importantly, she was reachable at any time to answer the many questions we had. While the resort was often slow or non responsive, Tanja was always there.
On our wedding day she was with us for the entire service and wedding ceremony making sure all ran smoothly.
Her prices are reasonable and her services (flowers, DJ, officiate, linens etc) provided were top notch!

My husband and I cannot more highly recommend Sint Maarten Weddings by Kaya Events. We originally planned our wedding for April 2018 but had to cancel due to the hurricane. Jason and I, after long consideration, chose to postpone the wedding for a year so that we can contribute to the St. Maarten economy and marry in a place that was home. Annemiek helped us plan a Mehndi the night before our wedding, the ceremony on a rooftop, and reception on the beach! She also kindly helped us organize a shuttle for our guests on Sunday and was readily available to speak via WhatsApp and through email.
