My Story

From the Shores of Saba to Creating Luxury Celebrations Across the Caribbean;

I was born and raised on the beautiful 5 square mile island of Saba https://www.sabatourism.com/ known for it's hiking trails, diving and the shortest run way in the world. A place that will forever be home in my heart. Growing up in such a close-knit community taught me the values that continue to guide me today: hard work, kindness, integrity, resilience, and taking pride in everything I do.

As a child, I was fascinated by celebrations. I loved seeing people come together to mark life's most meaningful moments. Whether we celebrated a wedding, family gathering, holiday celebration, or community event, I was drawn to the happiness, excitement, and connection that these occasions created. I found joy in seeing people smile, create memories, and celebrate the people they loved.

What began as admiration eventually became a passion.

My professional journey led me into hospitality, tourism, sales, and event planning, where I had the opportunity to work with people from around the world. It was there that I discovered what I truly loved: creating unforgettable experiences filled with love and making people happy.

After years of planning weddings, special events, and group celebrations, I took a leap of faith and founded Sint Maarten Luxury Event Consultants in 2024.

My vision was to create more than an event planning company. I wanted to build a company where clients feel genuinely cared for, supported, and understood. To me, planning a wedding is about much more than beautiful décor, flowers, and logistics. It is about listening to each client's story, understanding their vision, and creating moments they will remember for a lifetime.

Along this journey, I have been honored to receive industry recognition for my work, including "the couples choice award" 2026 that reflects the dedication, passion, and commitment I bring to every event. While I am incredibly proud of that accomplishment, my greatest achievement will always be the trust my clients place in me and the joy I see on their faces when their vision comes to life.

Today, I am incredibly grateful to work with couples and clients from around the world, creating beautiful celebrations throughout Sint Maarten and the Caribbean.

A Tribute to My Mother

While this company is a reflection of my passion, it is also a tribute to one of the most important people in my life, my mother, Claire.

She was a woman of strength, grace, kindness, and unwavering love. She taught me the values that guide both my life and my business: compassion, perseverance, integrity, hard work, and treating people with respect.

Sint Maarten Luxury Event Consultants is, in many ways, a tribute to her and the values she instilled in me. Her influence can be found in the way we care for our clients, the standards we set, and our commitment to giving our very best.

It is why one of the principles closest to my heart is simple:

From the little girl growing up on Saba who loved seeing people celebrate to the woman now creating unforgettable celebrations across the Caribbean, I am incredibly grateful for this journey.
