Julie and her team are truly the best, they did an amazing job with my wedding. She took my vision and went far beyond my expectations. Words cannot describe how wonderful Julie Hurt and her team are. I hired Julie for wedding decor/design as well as planning services and it was worth every penny. She is very knowledgeable on the Arizona wedding industry and provided me with wonderful sources for vendors or advice on budget savers. She also gives an honest perspective on vendors she has worked with and looks out for you when meeting with them.

Julie is easy to get along with and honestly feels like family after working with her. Even my husband, who is extremely shy, opened up right away with her. I could email or text her whenever I needed and she responded quickly. She is pretty high in demand and did her best to make herself available for you when you needed. I never felt like I wasn't important to her as a client. I honestly felt like I was her only client because of the attention and care she gave me.

If you are a bride who really likes elegance and tons of flowers then she is your gal! She has tons of decor items such as table linens and chairs; she also has a great florist which allows her to get awesome arrangements. She is very innovative in her designs and goes above and beyond to deliver. Her attention to the minuscule details really set the tone for my wedding and will set yours apart from the average wedding. As a bride, I had a hard time knowing what I wanted at first, then articulating what my vision was. Julie somehow figured out my vision and delivered what I wanted and more.

My husband Angel & I started planning our wedding in May 2014, thinking I was going to be able to plan and coordinate it on my own. Definitely the most crazy idea I've ever had because when it came down to it, I don't know what we would've done without Julie! I didn't really realize how much was needed to make a wedding work, sitting and talking with Julie almost made me feel overwhelmed because she reminded me of different details such as transportation, what hotel we would be staying at after the reception, and other things that slipped my mind, but having her walk me through it all took such a big weight off my shoulders, and I no longer was ever overwhelmed knowing she was just one call/e-mail away. Julie is EVERYTHING, she eats, sleeps, and breathes weddings! Overall, I know if I didn't hire her to plan and coordinate my wedding, it would've been my biggest regret. My centerpieces, cake, linens, and lighting were just all so phenomenal. It was the best feeling in the world, after all the stress, to be able to walk into my reception and have EVERYTHING beautifully done, so we can relax and enjoy the rest of our night. Julie was amazing to work with for rentals for my recent wedding. She is so talented and creative. I found Julie, after I had already booked a wedding coordinator and florist and somewhat regret it because her designs are beautiful. I rented chiavari chairs (best price in town!) and napkins. Julie even customized the napkins with a special ribbon and bling to match my other decor. I highly recommend her!

At first we weren't going to hire a planner or designer because we thought we couldn't afford it. We were going with our "friends" who offered to help us. Then a few months in to planning, they were nowhere to be found! In a panic, we called Simply Elegant!! Julie and her team were so helpful for my husband and I. I am certain they are 100% the reason (combined with prayer of course) why my wedding was as stress-free and beautiful as it was. There were so many details that we didn't have to worry about. Simply Elegant literally handled all of those and did it well. We could tell how professional they were and how much experience they had. Not to mention, they have connections with several vendors in the community and often can get "relationship discounts" for you. The unique thing about Simply Elegant is they are a one stop shop! The do set up, take down, design, flowers, and own their entire inventory. I loved the relationship we were able to build with Julie and her team. We felt like they really cared about us personally and it wasn't just about the money or the "business". We felt like our wedding was IMPORTANT to them even though they probably had other weddings to do. We "felt" like ours was their only one. We were DEFINITELY on a budget and a tight one-, but Simply Elegant was the only planning company that was willing to work with us. They were creative, re-assuring, and confident in their abilities.
