Simply Delicious Dishes was the best possible catering choice for our wedding. Arlethea and her team were extremely communicative throughout the planning process, and made things simple and stress-free. The quality of their work and value was exceptional - the food was delicious, the set-up was beautiful, and the service was outstanding. They lead with kindness, flexibility, professionalism and compassion, and their exceptional food and service truly made our special day even more memorable. My only regret was not getting to spend more one-on-one time with Arlethea, who is a beautiful person inside and out. I cannot recommend them enough, and I cant wait to work with them again.

This company over promised and under delivered! We Spent thousands of dollars using this vendor for our wedding and was given excuse after excuse as to why the service was as poor as it was “ 2 people didn’t show up” “they were at another event until the morning “ not only were some tables not served but food was also cold when it was finally received 2 hours into dinner not to mention the whole staff (with the exception of the MC ) was unpleasant to work with. In addition my husband and I ended up serving drinks to our guests on our wedding day as drinks for whatever reason were not given to guest. I could go on and about how deplorable the level of service we received was. On top of this Arlethea took minimal accountability for her actions and in turn tried to pin things on my husband and I. In the end we were offered a 700 which we only accepted due to no longer wanting to deal with her. I am only writing this review 5 months after our wedding due to finding out someone else also received the same level of piss poor service we did and I can only help think that if I would have written a review early it could’ve saved someone else the heartache (as I am never one to leave a review as I choose to let the lord hand out karma as he sees fit) if you are thinking of using this company think twice.

Please check all the 1 star reviews. I wish I did. Store bought food, frozen vegetables and potatoes, didn't bring any utensils, couldn't heat the food and needed help from the host...the list is endless.

The attached picture says it all! After admitting to throwing our food out 5 hours before dinner was supposed to be served, the staff showed up two hours late (15 minutes before my guest arrived) and left two hours early. My MC was very confused, when dinner was served 90 minutes earlier than scheduled. And dessert was served 2.5 hours before it was originally scheduled. I should add that dessert was also purchased from ShopRite, because the staff forgot that they were serving dessert. They left our event in the middle to go obtain ShopRite pies and cupcakes.
Needless to say, I have tried discussing this with Arlethea, and she’s refusing to believe that any of this is her fault. Which is unsurprising since she herself showed up to the event an hour and a half after guests arrived, although I was hoping to handle this in small claims court, at Arlethea’s suggestion, I have since been informed by my attorney that the damages are significantly more than what is allowed in small claims court.

Arlethea will claim this is false and untrue. She is now refusing to cooperate and blaming her subsequent negative reviews on me, as well as threatening to serve me with a cease and desist letter for expressing my concerns.
