Absolutely beautiful place for a reception and the staff was amazing!!!!

I just had my wedding here two weeks ago and I could not imagine a more perfect place to get married at. If all went as planned we were supposed to be married in the vineyard. However, Hurricane Florence hit two weeeks beforer the wedding. The Vineyard had a couple vine trees down and the mosquitoes were horrible! The team at SCW went above and beyond to make sure the vineyard was ready for us in two weeks and succeeded! So the big day comes, vineyard is gorgeous, and it POURS like an hour before the ceremony and the vineyard got flooded and we had to pull our ceremony inside. The team at SCW transitioned easily and made sure everything was perfect. Even with all the hiccups on our wedding day it was beautiful and everyone loved the venue. I feel really lucky to have had Susan and Debbie and the entire staff at Silver Coast Winery. They are the DREAM TEAM. Not just on the big day but leading up to it. I had questions and special requests and they were happy to help me with anything to make our day special. You will not regret choosing Silver Coast Winery as your venue.

We found Silver Coast Winery a few years ago during our yearly vacations to Sunset Beach, NC. During one of our trips to taste, my now husband, found the Barrel Room and came out to tell us to go look at it and mentioned about what a great reception hall it would make. (We weren't even engaged yet) When we got engaged in April 2014 and finally decided on a destination wedding, my mom and sister went to visit with Debbie (event coordinator) to discuss the possibility of having a wedding there in April 2015. We even spoke through Facetime on that day and set up a date and time for the reception! She also provided us with a folder full of other vendors and recommendations for us to choose from that they'd worked with before, including the caterer who also met with my family that same day! Debbie continued to check in to see how planning was going and was eager to answer any questions that we had. The week of the wedding she was off for vacation and came back that Saturday just so she could be there for us on our special day. Silver Coast Winery is a beautiful place and very accommodating! We'll be sure to visit again during our yearly vacations!!

Silver Coast Winery is a beautiful place to get married! The staff is so helpful; Debbie, the event coordinator, was always available when I had a question (even when I didnt know what to ask!). We love just going to the winery to relax and enjoy the wine so when it came time to choose a venue, this was the only place for us! It is a fun, inviting atmosphere and the staff makes you feel like part of the group any time you stop by. And of course, the wine is so good! Thank you, Silver Coast Winery for making our day absolutely perfect!!!

Silver Coast Winery is a beautiful venue! I had a summer wedding there. My ceremony was out in the vineyard, the cocktail hour was on the patio in the back, and my reception was in the barrel room. The entire venue was beautiful during the summer. And the staff is incredibly down to earth, and very friendly.

When I first met with the staff at Silver Coast, they made me feel so welcome and they were so excited for my wedding. It felt like they were honored that I was having my wedding at their venue. And I'm sure they make every bride feel that way! But it's an awesome feeling.

They were incredibly responsive, but usually better to contact them by phone than email. All my guests really enjoyed the venue.

They allow outside catering, so we used Art Catering (I really recommend them!) and the food was great! Having our wedding at a winery, allowed our guests to enjoy wine tastings if they were curious about the other wines available. If our guests wanted to do the tasting, it was at their own cost, but they did leave with a complimentary wine glass from the venue. We had plenty of wine available for our guests to drink, and if we ran out, there was plenty more for us to enjoy!

You hardly need any decor in the barrel room; it is decorated so well on it's own that it made decorating so much easier! And the staff were actively assisting in our wedding throughout the night. I highly recommend them!

The venue is reasonably priced, and they offer a military discount.

When my husband and I were dating his parents brought us to the winery because they were members, and that is when I fell in love with it. When we got engaged there was no question about where the wedding would be. We went to the bridal show at the winery in April 2011 and put down the deposit that day for May 26, 2012. Debbie and the other staff members were very helpful and she often called to touch base and see how things were going with my wedding planning. They are very flexible and because they let you bring in any vendors that you would like, that allowed me to have exactly what I wanted. There are many great vendors that work with the winery already, so that made my decision making very easy! The beautiful patio area, vineyard, and barrel room were all beautiful for my wedding and the photographs speak for themselves. Silver Coast Winery is a great location for anyone looking for a beautiful and intimate location for their wedding.

Everyone and everything at Silver Coast Winery was AMAZING!!! My husband and I had our ceremony outside on the patio and the reception inside in the Barrel Room with the waterfall. It was so beautiful and the staff was incredibly helpful. The event coordinator, Debbie, was incredible. She helped me plan and execute the entire wedding! She worked closely with our caterer ( Art Catering) and made sure that everything was perfect on our wedding day. I honestly couldn't imagine a more beautiful and affordable place to get married. Thank you to Silver Coast Winery for making all my dreams come true! I don't think the wedding could have gone more perfectly!

We had our reception at the Winery and we loved it! Our guests raved about it as well. We originally had 200 guests, but because of hurricane effects in the north east, we ended up with 150. We rented the whole facility. Our cocktail reception was in the art gallery and the back patio. Dinner was under a large tent right next to the building, we could have done dinner in the barrel room, but I had always wanted to do a lounge for what I called the "party part" of the evening that we did in the barrel room. It was beautiful! The winery staff was truly helfpul and it was great to be able to bring in the caterer that I wanted. We were also able to do pictures with the bridal party in the vineyard . . . it was beautiful!

We also worked with the winery to get a private label wine for our guests. We gave that as our favor. We bought 10 cases so the guests could all have them and my husband and I could have bottles to open for our anniversaries.

The winery also worked with me to do a signature winetail! We bought several bottles of their wines and mixers and my husband, sister, mom and I had a blast coming up with the winetail. They charged a nominal fee to do our recipe and have it out for our guests as they arrived at cocktail hour.
