Sierra Catering has been in business in the Houston/Cypress area since 2011. Alejandro Mireles (Alex), the owner, has a chain of restaurants in Mexico and decided to expand his business here. Owning several restaurants, he has the knowledge and 14 years of experience in the industry and catering business.

Sierra Madre is quickly building a reputation for providing delicious food at affordable prices - both of which every bride needs and appreciates. Although Mexican food is his forte - he also specializes in Italian, BBQ, Spanish, Argentinian and French cuisine. No event is too small or too large.

Delicious food

Alex and his team were great! We had the tasting with him personally, and he gave us many wonderful options to choose from. We ended up choosing prime rib and Sierra stuffed chicken with ceviche for an appetizer and cheesecake bites for an after dinner treat. He accommodated our special dietary restrictions for a few of our guests as well.
Everything was fresh, hot and delicious! I cannot recommend Sierra Catering enough! The staff was very friendly and helped clean tables throughout the night.

Great Food, Great Price, Great People!

Out food was so delicious that people even called talking about the food after the wedding! We had fajitas and queso, etc. It was delicious! People with severe food allergies were able to eat too! They also cut the cakes for us (we had a lot of cakes to cut too) as part of the package. Alex and his wife/staff are so nice! They really care and go out of their way to make your day go well and make you feel special as you eat. They are a blessing! Thank you so much!

Excellent taste, quality and price.

Alex and his staff are outstanding. He catered my daughter’s wedding in April and the guests raved about food. The food was a buffet set up, hot, great quality and taste. The price was very affordable. Would definitely recommend Sierra Catering for any event.

Literally the best wedding food ever

1. We were amazed at the food quality at our wedding. Our guests raved and went for 2nd and thirds during reception. Truly delicious.

2. Alex was so accommodating with our requests. We had few vegetarian friends and he prepared some veggie dishes for them.

3. We wanted hot cocoa for our outdoor wedding and he made us yummy hot cocoa for our guests

4. Alex and his beautiful wife were so kind and informative. We really appreciate you guys, thank you.

Sierra madre best in houston

This caterer did everything perfect for my daughter's wedding at Iron Manor. Working with this wonderful man was enjoyable, and the food was amazing! Don't get me started on the fresh homemade pastas!!!! All of our 150 guests raved about their meals. And as delicious is the food, so are the prices. Great JOB Sierra!

Thank you!

I met Alex with Sierra Madre catering at an open house at my wedding venue. With the first sample, I knew we wanted him to be our caterer. He was super responsive and set up our tasting quickly. The tasting exceeded our expectations, he had everything thought out which made the decisions really easy for us. He also was very understanding of needing to accommodate for any special dietary plates or kid plates. One of my favorite suggestions is he had plated food delivered to the bridal quarters for a private alone dinner as newly bride and groom. I didn’t know how special it was until the day of our wedding in that peaceful moment together. Thank you for amazing food and service! Highly recommend booking him for your events!

Amazing food and customer service

Alex and his team is amazing. He was quick to respond with any questions we had. He also went above and beyond through the whole process. He has amazing food and the price does not compare to other catering companies. We were so glad we found him at an open house. You would not regret using him so book a tasting and you will see the quality of food as well as the great pricing he offers.

Unmatched Talent and Price

My wife and I hired Alex to cater a small private party following our daughter's wedding. From beginning to end, Alex and his team could not be matched. Prior to our event, we met with him for a private "tasting". His sample meals were amazing and, once we made our selection, his prices were unmatched. He is a Master in his art, no doubt. On the night of the event, his team showed up early to set up, with Alex leading the way. He was ready when the guests arrived. The meals were hot and tasted as if they has been completed moments before. He even added his own personal touch to the event by helping to serve drinks, take photos and even serve the wedding cake.

If you're looking for that one business that stands head-and-shoulders above the rest, give Alex a call. I promise you won't regret it.

Alex and his team were amazing to work with. The food was incredible and the prices were amazing. Alex went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and he was there to answer any questions we had every step of the way.
