Unprofessional and doesn’t fulfill duties

We found Ashli on GigSalad in February 2025 and booked a consultation with her to be an additional coordinator for our August 2025 wedding. Our venue already provided a coordinator, but we wanted extra support to ensure everything went smoothly. The initial consultation went well. I shared my wedding vision through photos and messages, and she offered ideas and suggestions. She also stated that she provided floral services, so we hired her for florals, setup, breakdown, and wedding coordination. She mentioned that she works with her husband, who would assist the groomsmen. We discussed our budget, and she reassured us that everything would be handled properly. Unfortunately, her services were a complete disappointment. In the months leading up to the wedding, communication was inconsistent. There were multiple times when I could not reach her and later found out—sometimes a week later through her assistant—that she was sick. This happened two to three times. At one point, I feared she would ghost us. Even our venue coordinator expressed concerns, stating that Ashli’s communication was confusing and unprofessional, and they preferred to communicate directly with me instead. Two days before the wedding, Ashli informed us that our wedding flowers would not be delivered on time and would instead arrive after the wedding. We had chosen hydrangeas, which made me question whether the flowers had ever been ordered. Her explanation did not make sense. A month after the wedding, she claimed she needed a refund from the floral company, contradicting her earlier statement. She then offered alternative flowers that were not real. This was extremely upsetting. At the wedding rehearsal, members of our bridal party noted that Ashli seemed unprepared and unable to direct the processional. She also arrived with approximately four young children, which was highly unprofessional. On the wedding day, she appeared overwhelmed. I asked her to pick up the alcohol from the hotel for the wedding favors, but she failed to do so, forcing me to find someone else. My best friend and sister-in-law went to the venue and showed me the setup, which was poorly done. They, along with the venue coordinator, had to fix the decorations themselves. Because of this, we lost valuable time for getting-ready photos. Ashli never checked on me or informed me when it was time to head to the venue. Thankfully, my best friend ensured we arrived on time. When I arrived at the venue, Ashli’s husband was dressed unprofessionally in a bright pink shirt, which guests openly commented on. During the ceremony, I noticed that promised life-size photos of my husband and me were not displayed. The floor decals for the reception stage were extremely small and embarrassing. My wedding vision was not executed as promised. After the wedding, we requested a refund for services not provided. Although she initially discussed refund amounts, she later reduced the figure and has yet to provide any refund. Communication began in August 2025, and as of January 2026, no refund has been issued. Despite repeatedly asking for wedding photos, she refuses to pay what is owed. I felt genuinely scammed. Her services were unprofessional and extremely disappointing. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Would not recommend

Ashli was the planner for my cousins wedding, I was fortunate to be a groomsman and stand up there with my cousin while he enjoyed the best day of his life. The issues all started the day before at rehearsal which was very confusing and chaotic. I have been a part of many wedding parties and this was the first time that we had to explain to the planner what was expected to happen in the ceremony and we never went through actual rehearsals. Eventually we moved on, but then the next day we all quickly realize that she was either over her head or unprepared. The decorations were not what was agreed to, the brides name was even spelled incorrectly and the entire event was unorganized and chaotic. This created a lot of stress for my cousin and his wife on what was meant to be a memorable and happy day for the both of them. I would not recommend working with her at all.

Do not hire as a planner- Save yourself

Ashli, the owner/ planner for this company, constantly failed to meet her obligations throughout her role as our wedding coordinator and floral planner/designer. Communication was consistently poor during the planning process, after paying for her services she was unable to provide the flowers and wedding floor decal we had paid for. She later admitted this was her mistake, claiming she had ordered the items; however, the evidence suggests the funds allocated for florals were not used as agreed, and our wedding received only the bare minimum.

Additionally, several wedding items she stated were included could not be used because they were allegedly “damaged in transport.” She brought her husband—who was dressed in an anime t-shirt—to both the rehearsal, along with four children. None were dressed appropriately for the occasion, and her attention was frequently diverted, resulting in inadequate support for the bridal party and groomsmen.

We initially agreed on a partial refund but then she ceased communication for several months. When she resurfaced, she reversed her position and refused to issue the refund, stating she won't be moving forward with the refund because she did not have access to our wedding photos. We informed her that photo access would be granted once the refund matter was formally resolved. Based on the circumstances, it appears the funds she just didn't want to pay.

Overall, we received extremely poor service, and her conduct negatively impacted our wedding day. We would absolutely not recommend her for anyone's wedding.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
