I went to the store three weeks before the wedding. I flipped through a porfolio and picked a style. Then they asked me for the specifics: size, type and color frosting, and type of cake and filling. That was how I placed my order and left in 15min. I might have confirmed with them once more before the wedding but that was it. The cake just magically appeared at the restaurant in my exact specification, on time. They were my best vendor yet!

Anyone ordering a wedding cake from Sheng Kee obviously isn't going for a super fancy cake. I was more concerned about having an inexpensive cake that was delicious, and they totally delivered. No real surprises. I do wish they had more modern/cute options for styles of cakes, most of the ones in the booklet look straight out of the eighties. However, they were able to accommodate me. As far as I know the cake made it to the reception on time, looked how I expected it to look, tasted good, and was pretty cheap for wedding cake!
