We are absolutely blown away by the photos from our big day! Every image tells our love story so beautifully and authentically, and we truly can’t stop looking at them. From our engagement photos all the way through the wedding day, Shane and Anna communicated with us every step of the way, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. On the wedding day, Shane and his second photographer worked together flawlessly. Their communication, coordination, and teamwork made everything flow effortlessly. His assistant was also incredible and truly went above and beyond to help throughout the day in ways both big and small.

We were also amazed by how seamlessly Shane worked with our other vendors. He collaborated beautifully with our videographer and planner, making sure everyone was in sync and the entire day ran smoothly. That level of professionalism and ease made a huge difference and let us focus on being present and enjoying every moment.

When we received our gallery, we were absolutely blown away! The photos are beyond what we ever imagined. We teared up scrolling through them, reliving the moments and feeling so grateful that they captured not just how everything looked, but how it felt. Working with Shane and Anna was a true gift, and we are so thankful they were part of our wedding! Their work is not only stunning, it is something we will treasure for the rest of our lives!

Shane and his whole team were phenomenal for our wedding! He somehow knew exactly what we wanted captured without having to ask us throughout the day, and the pictures turned out phenomenally. He figured out where all of my detail shot items were when I forgot to show him in the craziness of the morning. You can truly just let Shane do his thing and trust it will all come out great. The same goes for his assistant, who did a great iob!

He left a great impression on our guests and families too — even getting smiles for photos out of our overstimulated 3 year old flower girls, which is no easy task! Shane was also very organized and functioned almost like a 2nd wedding planner, helping us stay on schedule and keeping the vibes relaxed when our planner had to handle other things.

Finally, Shane and Anna went above and beyond on all the little details — such as sending gifts in the mail throughout the stressful planning process!

The experience with Shane and Anna, and co. was amazing from first contact, to the end. The photographer was the first thing I booked, and I didn't really know what I was doing. They sent information that was so helpful, for instance examples of a typical wedding day schedule. Their responses were so quick. They sent a really great questionnaire to get the vibe, and what we wanted day of. It helped me put things together for myself, and other vendors too. The day of the wedding Shane was early. He was so warm and attentive, and knew all sorts of helpful tips (like how to carry my dress around). There were so many things from the day of that I thought, oh shoot I didn't have time to get over and see the dessert table...well not to worry, when I got my photos he had gotten all those details I had not seen, or had forgotten what they looked like. They got my PERFECT photo album to me within a week! Do not hesitate to book this team. They really, truly care about you and the job they do.

If anyone thinks there is someone better than Shane Long, I'd like to see your argument. He is the most phenomenal photographer a bride could ask for! His creativity, his overall confidence in his work, as well as how comfortable he makes you feel puts the icing on the cake. I haven't even looked through all of our wedding photos and we are completely blown away. We cannot say enough great things about Shane! It would be a mistake to not have him part of your day! He is THAT good.

We also appreciated how FAST Shane was able to take the photos compared to other photographers (especially great with three flower girls under 5), and we liked how he asked for our input on various shots throughout the day. I first heard of Shane Long Photography from another photographer referral. When I searched to find Shane Long Photography on Instagram, I was amazed by all the lovely photos that were show cased on his page. In his bio, I saw that he lives half of the year in Florida and the other half the year in Minnesota, and I immediately got chills of excitement as I grew up in Florida and was hoping to have our engagement shoot in my hometown. I quickly reached out to see if Shane was available for our wedding date in Minnesota, and thankfully he was!!
After booking, my (now) husband and I had an opportunity to FaceTime with Shane and share a little bit about our love story and talk about ideas for our engagement shoot coming up in Florida. I also was in communication with Shane’s wife Anna too. Over the past 10 months Anna and I emailed back and forth with each other regarding any questions I had, and she was always super kind and quick to get back to me!
When we finally met with Shane in Florida for our engagement shoot, in February 2022, we had SO MUCH FUN! Since Florida is where I grew up it was important to us to have photos taken where I was from. We also loved finding a location with the classic palm trees in the background! Shane made us feel relaxed and had us laughing almost the whole time! We received three sneak peek photos that evening from our engagement shoot earlier that day and were blown away by how beautiful they were! After only a week and a half a blog post was made of our Florida engagement session on Shane’s website, and we also received our full digital gallery!
About one week before our wedding, we had a brief phone call with Shane to finalize the wedding day timeline and to talk about important moments we wanted captured. On the day of our wedding Shane surprised us by showing up earlier than we expected!! Shane arrived and shot some getting ready photos for both the ladies and the gentlemen. He also found time to do some detailed shots of our wedding invitations, my bridal jewelry, and florals. Shane followed us to the church for the ceremony and was ready to go as soon as we arrived. He was wonderful about being respectful during the celebration of our Catholic wedding Mass and afterwards had all the names ready to go for family group photos. Although we had a tight schedule, Shane was able to squeeze in time for my husband and I to go to the exact spot where he asked me to marry him, right on the Mississippi River! Next, we went back to our reception venue for more photos with our wedding party in a nearby park. Shane was super great about making sure everyone was having fun and we all had big smiles on our faces! During cocktail hour, Shane again surprised us with a slide show of photos from our wedding day that were taken earlier in the day!! SO AMAZING!! We had so many guests compliment Shane and say how incredible he was, which we totally agreed with! After dinner, Shane pulled my husband and me away for some sunset photos, and this session was probably one of my favorites of the day! The golden hour was perfect, and it was a great way for the two of us, as husband and wife, to step away and enjoy a private moment alone.
A couple days after our wedding, Shane posted a few sneak peek photos on his Facebook and Instagram pages! We were again surprised and amazed at how beautifully Shane captured our day! And exactly one week from when we got married, Anna shared a blog post about our wedding day and sent us our full wedding gallery! We were truly amazed at how quickly they were able to deliver the finished product! We loved every one of those photos and we will cherish them for a lifetime!!
We cannot say enough fanatic things about Shane and Anna! If I could give them a hundred starts, I would! They are so talented and they are such kind and caring people! I highly recommend them for your wedding day! It will be one of the BEST decisions you make for your special day!

We could not have been happier to work with Shane & Anna throughout our wedding process. Being a bride during COVID was difficult enough that when we decided to move our wedding date up (more than a month) one of our non-negotiable was whether or not Shane could still shoot our wedding. They both made it so easy, were willing to be flexible, and our entire day was more fun because of our photographer choice.

AND WE LOVE OUR PICTURES! I've never had so many people comment on the beauty of our pictures and all of that credit goes to Shane and Anna. Even my brother and his new fiancé decided they couldn't use anyone else.
