If I had to choose one vendor to shout from the rooftops about, it would be Shane Long Photography. I honestly don’t even know where to begin—Shane was an absolute dream to work with, and his photos are truly STUNNING. His talent speaks for itself, and every single image perfectly captured the beauty and emotion of our wedding.
Shane is the perfect mix of professional and fun. From the start, he made us feel completely comfortable and confident in front of the camera. One thing that was really important to us was having someone who could guide us through what to do for photos—and he absolutely nailed that. He gave clear direction while still keeping everything natural and enjoyable.
We booked Shane for both our welcome dinner and wedding day, and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Another huge bonus was how quickly he delivered our photos—we were blown away!
Aside from the wedding itself, Shane was one of the highlights of the entire experience. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing he was. Shane, you are incredibly talented, and you captured our wedding in the most beautiful, perfect way. I truly can’t thank you enough! -

Shane and his whole team were phenomenal for our wedding! He somehow knew exactly what we wanted captured without having to ask us throughout the day, and the pictures turned out phenomenally. He figured out where all of my detail shot items were when I forgot to show him in the craziness of the morning. You can truly just let Shane do his thing and trust it will all come out great. The same goes for his assistant, who did a great iob!
He left a great impression on our guests and families too — even getting smiles for photos out of our overstimulated 3 year old flower girls, which is no easy task! Shane was also very organized and functioned almost like a 2nd wedding planner, helping us stay on schedule and keeping the vibes relaxed when our planner had to handle other things.
Finally, Shane and Anna went above and beyond on all the little details — such as sending gifts in the mail throughout the stressful planning process!
Thank you Shane for everything, we loved working with you and will cherish our photos forever! -

Look no further, this is you wedding photographer!!!
The experience with Shane and Anna, and co. was amazing from first contact, to the end. The photographer was the first thing I booked, and I didn't really know what I was doing. They sent information that was so helpful, for instance examples of a typical wedding day schedule. Their responses were so quick. They sent a really great questionnaire to get the vibe, and what we wanted day of. It helped me put things together for myself, and other vendors too. The day of the wedding Shane was early. He was so warm and attentive, and knew all sorts of helpful tips (like how to carry my dress around). There were so many things from the day of that I thought, oh shoot I didn't have time to get over and see the dessert table...well not to worry, when I got my photos he had gotten all those details I had not seen, or had forgotten what they looked like. They got my PERFECT photo album to me within a week! Do not hesitate to book this team. They really, truly care about you and the job they do. -

Dynamic duo you can't live without!
This dynamic husband and wife duo are nothing short of amazing! From engagement photo prep all the way through your wedding day they are organized, responsive, so kind, and genuinely excited for you and your partner. Anna answered every question we had, provided suggestions, and was so timely with responses and getting photos back to us. Shane was the maestro of our day we couldn't have lived without! He kept everything efficient with photos and we were able to get every shot we wanted and more! Our family and wedding party raved about their fun personalities during the day and the calming presence they provided, an absolute must book vendor! -

Right from our first meeting for engagement photos Shane clicked with us and understood type of photography were were looking for on our wedding day.

Shane and Anna Long are the DREAM TEAM!! From beginning to end, your experience with them will be none other than EXCELLENT!
I first heard of Shane Long Photography from another photographer referral. When I searched to find Shane Long Photography on Instagram, I was amazed by all the lovely photos that were show cased on his page. In his bio, I saw that he lives half of the year in Florida and the other half the year in Minnesota, and I immediately got chills of excitement as I grew up in Florida and was hoping to have our engagement shoot in my hometown. I quickly reached out to see if Shane was available for our wedding date in Minnesota, and thankfully he was!!
After booking, my (now) husband and I had an opportunity to FaceTime with Shane and share a little bit about our love story and talk about ideas for our engagement shoot coming up in Florida. I also was in communication with Shane’s wife Anna too. Over the past 10 months Anna and I emailed back and forth with each other regarding any questions I had, and she was always super kind and quick to get back to me!
When we finally met with Shane in Florida for our engagement shoot, in February 2022, we had SO MUCH FUN! Since Florida is where I grew up it was important to us to have photos taken where I was from. We also loved finding a location with the classic palm trees in the background! Shane made us feel relaxed and had us laughing almost the whole time! We received three sneak peek photos that evening from our engagement shoot earlier that day and were blown away by how beautiful they were! After only a week and a half a blog post was made of our Florida engagement session on Shane’s website, and we also received our full digital gallery!
About one week before our wedding, we had a brief phone call with Shane to finalize the wedding day timeline and to talk about important moments we wanted captured. On the day of our wedding Shane surprised us by showing up earlier than we expected!! Shane arrived and shot some getting ready photos for both the ladies and the gentlemen. He also found time to do some detailed shots of our wedding invitations, my bridal jewelry, and florals. Shane followed us to the church for the ceremony and was ready to go as soon as we arrived. He was wonderful about being respectful during the celebration of our Catholic wedding Mass and afterwards had all the names ready to go for family group photos. Although we had a tight schedule, Shane was able to squeeze in time for my husband and I to go to the exact spot where he asked me to marry him, right on the Mississippi River! Next, we went back to our reception venue for more photos with our wedding party in a nearby park. Shane was super great about making sure everyone was having fun and we all had big smiles on our faces! During cocktail hour, Shane again surprised us with a slide show of photos from our wedding day that were taken earlier in the day!! SO AMAZING!! We had so many guests compliment Shane and say how incredible he was, which we totally agreed with! After dinner, Shane pulled my husband and me away for some sunset photos, and this session was probably one of my favorites of the day! The golden hour was perfect, and it was a great way for the two of us, as husband and wife, to step away and enjoy a private moment alone.
A couple days after our wedding, Shane posted a few sneak peek photos on his Facebook and Instagram pages! We were again surprised and amazed at how beautifully Shane captured our day! And exactly one week from when we got married, Anna shared a blog post about our wedding day and sent us our full wedding gallery! We were truly amazed at how quickly they were able to deliver the finished product! We loved every one of those photos and we will cherish them for a lifetime!!
We cannot say enough fanatic things about Shane and Anna! If I could give them a hundred starts, I would! They are so talented and they are such kind and caring people! I highly recommend them for your wedding day! It will be one of the BEST decisions you make for your special day! -

Our wedding was BETTER because we used Shane & Anna
We could not have been happier to work with Shane & Anna throughout our wedding process. Being a bride during COVID was difficult enough that when we decided to move our wedding date up (more than a month) one of our non-negotiable was whether or not Shane could still shoot our wedding. They both made it so easy, were willing to be flexible, and our entire day was more fun because of our photographer choice.
AND WE LOVE OUR PICTURES! I've never had so many people comment on the beauty of our pictures and all of that credit goes to Shane and Anna. Even my brother and his new fiancé decided they couldn't use anyone else. -

Shane and Anna are amazing to work with and such a professional, skilled team of artists. It was important to me to have beautiful lighting and colors and to capture the emotion of our Wedding day in a natural way for us to remember it forever. They over delivered and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Beyond photography, they are an awesome couple and so kind and helpful through the whole process of wedding planning and finding vendors. If on a budget (like we were), consider spending more on photography and less on another area (food, florals, decor, venue...) the beautiful photos will carry memories for so much longer than many of the other things you can spend on. Well worth the investment. -

Shane and his wife Anna are absolutely amazing. They truly were the best at capturing our special day and the final product is absolutely breath taking. In addition to being amazing at photography, they were such a great resource when we had wedding questions for that were not photography related. Two of the most kind hearted, spectacular people I’ve had the privilege of working with. Can’t wait to have them capture more special moments in our life -

Wonderful experience with Shane Long Photography!
Shane Long Photography provided the perfect experience for our engagement photos and wedding day! As I was planning my own wedding, I greatly appreciated Anna's quick response times and friendly communications throughout the entire wedding planning process. Shane was a wonderful photographer. He braved single digit temperatures for our February engagement session (after giving us the flexibility to change the date/time last minute if we weren't wanting to brave the cold temps), and he captured all the important moments on the big day. He even got a family photo that included five kids under the age of 4 all looking and smiling at the camera! Our family and friends were really impressed with their interactions with Shane, and we are extremely pleased with our experience and the timeless photos we received. -

Amazing experience
Shane and Anna made the wedding process a breeze! They answered ALL of my questions and even gave me tips on creating the schedule (which was super helpful). They are such a kind, encouraging team. On the day of, Shane directed people SO well and made sure everyone was comfortable. He was open to ideas and I felt like everyone's needs were heard. My family and friends raved about Shane and how good he was, which says a lot. Shane Long Photography is AMAZING - they really did make our day great. We hope to work with Shane and Anna again! -

Shane took photos for my brothers wedding a few years ago and the pictures he took were stunningly high quality, well beyond any wedding photographer I had ever seen. Needless to say, we knew exactly that's why we wanted Shane, however we couldn't have anticipated the impact that Shane would have on our wedding day from start to finish. He brings an ineffable amount of experience, helping guide us through our big day with ease and excitement. It was more than we bargained for, our wedding day would have been far different had we not had Shane. Especially after driving 5 hours down on the morning of and going strong all the way until late into the night. We are truly grateful! -

Shane and Anna are the best of the best. From our first meeting, through receiving our final images, there was such attention to detail and service. They are truly a talented team! Shane captured our day perfectly, keeping everyone from the parents to the flower girl comfortable and at ease while effortlessly documenting every tender look and showstopping moment. Anna kept us in the loop and made us all look like magazine material before sending us our images less than a week(!!!!) after our wedding. Everyone who has seen our images has raved over them and before my wedding day was even over, I was hearing comments from friends and family about how incredible our photographer was. There's no doubt that we will be turning to Shane and Anna again (and again) whenever the future holds more special moments that need captured! -

Beyond pleased with how our pictures turned out.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Looking at our wedding photos almost 2 years later, I'm sure I can come up with a lot more. Not only was it a pleasure to work with Shane, his work is simply amazing. He made everyone so comfortable taking photos. We have received countless compliments about our pictures. I know to some it may seem daunting choosing a wedding photographer, let me save you the hassle. You are making the right choice if you choose Shane and Anna. We are beyond happy with the way all our photos turned out. His demeanor was icing on the cake. As we print out photos to hang up, we can't help but smile. He made that day perfect to remember. -

There was not a doubt in my mind that when we got engaged who our photographer would be! I have known Shane and Anna for many years, and I have seen the work they have done beyond just our engagement and wedding session. Shane was so easy and fun to work with and he captured endless perfect moments from our big day that we get to cherish forever. Anna did a beautiful job editing and putting the finishing touches on our photos and getting them back to us in a timely manner. We have gotten so many compliments on how wonderful our pictures are, and it assured me that we made the right decision in choosing Shane Long Photography. Shane and Anna, I truly cannot thank you enough for all the love and hard work you put into capturing our day!!! 10/10 would recommend them to anyone!! It’s definitely worth the price when you get to work with two amazing people! :)

Kayla Sent on 11/14/2017Shane took our pictures at our July wedding and he did a fabulous job. Despite a large family and kiddos not wanting to cooperate he pulled thru and they turned out amazing!! Him and his brother worked so well together that they got everyone looking and smiling!! You won't be disappointed!!
