The venue was beautiful especially off the water, and it’s pretty affordable and you can stay in there beautiful cabins!

We had such an amazing day at the vista! We were really able to customize our day which is so perfect for your special day. The views were immaculate and we cannot recommend enough this venue!

While this venue is affordable and absolutely beautiful, unless you are planning a small, low-key event I would avoid this venue. During the year that I was planning my wedding they went through three different event coordinators and I received numerous variations of policies. I met with the manager a few weeks ahead of time to iron things, he was pleasant and appeared to be very accommodating at this time. On the day of the wedding me, my bridal party and guests were all yelled at for various things by the manager, he was extremely unprofessional. At one point the bartenders told my guests that we had reached our bar tab limit (we had requested an open bar all night and just wanted to be notified at a certain limit, which they failed to do, we had to seek them out when one of our guests told us the bar was closed). At 930 pm sharp the manager came out and told my DJ that he had to shut down and stop playing music (we had the venue until 10pm) luckily he was playing his last song anyway. We received no help in moving tables or chairs from the venue, again contrary to what we had discussed in the weeks prior. These are just some of the unfortunate things that come to mind. But to top it all off, there was a big blow out during our rehearsal dinner because we had brought alcohol from our cabins into the otherwise closed Vista. I don't know how many times I heard the statement "we can lose our liquor license over this", everyone in my party that had an alcoholic beverage was over the age of 21. However, during the event all four 18 year olds that were invited to the wedding were served alcohol by the bartenders at the venue, how ironic.
