I had some jewelry stolen and needed to know how much the items were worth. The people I spoke to said they needed more information, but even after I gave it to them they told me they couldn't tell me how much it was worth or what it would cost to replace the items. Finally, after hemming and hawing a bit, they said they had to do some research and promised to call me back. Of course they never did!!! I thought this was supposed to be one of Ithaca's premium jewelry stores, but I've reconsidered my opinion.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at Schooley's. My husband and I looked for wedding bands there, but ended up purchasing them in NYC and took them there to be engraved/resized. They messed up both of the engravings, refused to admit their mistakes, and insulted me multiple times in the process. Their poor customer service was shocking and I will never set foot in here again.
