Definitely 5 stars from beginning to end.
Obviously, reception music was a huge part of this review but Chris and team went above and beyond during our ceremony. Our ceremony was very different--it was as much of a coordinated show as it was a ceremony. With videos, walk down music for each participants and a one eyed cat (yes, one-eyed cat) processional to coordinate there were a ton of moving parts. Any mistimed music or poor pacing would've have killed the mood but Chris took the run of show and executed flawlessly.
If you're looking for a band that will get everyone up and having a good time. And one that takes the time to make your wedding personal--look no further than the Chris Sarlas Orchestra.

I have known and worked with Sarlas Music for several years at weddings, cocktail parties and galas. Chris and Carol are extremely professional as well as being amazing musicians. They play all types of music and have all sizes of bands. We hired them for our fundraising Gala held at Navy Pier this past May and they were just fantastic. We had a trio during cocktails and a big band before, during and after dinner for some dancing prior to the act we brought in from Greece. Quite frankly, they outplayed the other group by a million miles. The vocalists were so good and when they switched to Greek dancing music after the auction... let's just say there was a LOT of dancing. Highly recommend them for any event.

If you want a packed dance floor from beginning to end, this is the band to call. The vocalists are almost too good to be true. Chris is the most honest, hard-working, talented bandleader you will find, and he will work tirelessly to make sure that your wedding is perfect. He returns calls promptly, is the nicest guy you will ever meet, and is an incredible MC who will get your guests up and on their feet, dancing the night away. They offer literally hundreds of live video clips so you can watch them from the comfort of your own home. Look no further. This band is IT!!
