Carlos and his crew produced a beautiful authentic mexican banquet for 100 guests at my wedding. Everybody was raving about how delicious the food was. His entire crew was responsive and super helpful. My sister just hired them to do a corporate party and she also raved about how great the food was. Definitely one of Sacramento's best!

DO NOT USE THIS CATERER! Although the food was tasty, they did not provide enough and ran out of food 40 minutes into service when they were contracted for an hour and a half! I had 12 last minute guest cancelations so you would think there would have actually been extra food, but no. This catering service does not prepare enough food to bring to your event, skimps guests during the event and the staff are rude. They do not put enough meat in the tacos to fill the base of the tortilla, so you only get meat in one bite, and when you ask for more meat in your taco you are met with rudeness by the staff. Furthermore, they were not prepared for weather by bringing a working tent, so make sure you rent one for them to use.
I paid $565.00 for catering for 50 guests for 1.5 hours of service time. They only brought maybe enough food for 25 guests and tried to stretch it by skimping everyone but still ran out after 40 minutes and not everyone got a chance to eat!
I AM EXTREMELY EMBARRASSED BY THEIR CATERING AND FEEL RIPPED OFF. DO NOT USE THIS CATERER!

Carlos Montoya is the most unprofessional business owner. DO NOT use this company. We had a small wedding, we planned for 70 guests and only had about 60. Our wedding was in the hills, so we wanted to have plenty of food for after-party snacks. We explained the situation to Carlos and decided to pay for food for 100 people. Prior to the wedding day, our wedding coordinator made contact with Carlos, so that he knew who she was. On the day of the wedding, Carlos was not there, instead, there were two employees. The coordinator met with the employees, showed them where to set up, gave them the timeline of when to start serving food, etc. It was a hot day, about 106 degrees, so a lot of people didn't eat - we all knew there would be leftovers, so there was no rush. Toward the end of the dinner, one of our friends went to the caterers and asked if there were any leftovers. The employees were loading up their equipment and had a full tray of food but told him there weren't any leftovers. He asked, "What's that?" They said something like "That's garbage." Within fifteen minutes of the employees leaving, the wedding coordinator and I realized they had not left any food. She texted Carlos and asked him to tell his staff to bring the leftovers back. Carlos responded that an unnamed wedding guest had told his staff that they had done a great job and could leave. He did not tell them to come back. The following week, we contacted Carlos about a refund and he insisted that his staff were only doing what they were told by a wedding guest and hadn't done anything wrong. I cannot believe that a caterer would say they take instructions from a RANDOM guest. He ignored the fact that there were numerous conversations before-hand about the large amount of leftovers we wanted AND PAID FOR, and the fact that his staff never sought out the wedding coordinator, her assistant, myself or my husband before leaving and taking the leftovers . He refused to refund any amount to us.
