Enjoy dinner, brunch or lunch aboard the Sacramento RiverTrain. This train features a sparkling gold exterior reflecting the area’s Gold Rush heritage and 1,000-feet of blue waves that are a tribute to the Sacramento River that follows the train’s route. While you roll along, enjoy a great combination of scenery, food & entertainment.

We take great pride in hosting wedding ceremonies, receptions or rehearsal dinners on the railroad. Our train provides a unique setting that mixes the excitement of travel, the nostalgia of the rails. If you wish to have your wedding ceremony or reception with us, we have a variety of options. The most popular option is to ride the train out and deboard for a ceremony along the Sacramento River. We also have ceremonies on the train. We will gladly work with you to make your wedding special.

Most couples are surprised at how affordable it is to have their special day aboard our train. The reason for this is that our train is well-furnished and you do not need extra furnishings or services to make the event special. We think you will be pleasantly surprised at our combination of quality service, luxurious coaches, delicious food, flexible arrangements and affordability.

To make it easier for you to compare our unique venue with other locations, we have split the costs into two fees: facility fee and banquet fee.

Beer & wine are available in the dining cars, the Club Car or the open-air cars. Seasonal & special event trips are offered throughout the year. The train is heated & air-conditioned with restrooms.

The train boards in the cities of West Sacramento and Woodland. Most trips last 3 hours, and we will always bring you back to your starting point. The train goes a leisurely 10-20 miles per hour so you can comfortably explore the various cars on the train.
