I've had many family photoshoots over the years by many different photographers. And I have lots of great pictures of my family well posed. The pictures I received from Ryan P. Maillet are extra special however! He was able to capture the small but sweet moments between the posed photographs. I didn't even realize he was shooting when my family was most relaxed and being ourselves between the "real" photos. I can say with out a doubt that Ryan has given me some of my all time favorite photos of my family that will forever me treasured!

I loved everything about my photoshoot with Ryan! I had been wanting a mermaid photoshoot for a very long time. I finally decided to make it happen. I found a photographer, spent weeks getting the perfect mermaid bra and accessories. Even got my hair done the day before the shot. Needless to say there was a lot of excitement and preparation for this shoot! I woke up at 5am for a sunrise shoot. The makeup and getting into the tail was fun, but the shoot itself was over before it started. It was so fast! I don't even think it lasted 5 minutes. I didn't get a chance to pose like I had imaged and planned for. I didn't even get a chance to warm up. I left the beach that day feeling disappointed but decided to trust in the photographer that she had gotten the shot. Weeks later I finally got my images back, she had not gotten the shot at all. I was very disappointed. This is when I met Ryan. He said he would do another shot for me. Ryan definitely got the shot...several times! I felt during my shoot with Ryan that I was able to be myself and had enough time to have fun with the shot and make sure I got to pose in a few different ways. I never felt rushed with Ryan, but rather like we were working together to get the shot that I wanted! I really felt like he wanted to make me happy and he really did. He kept asking me questions to make sure I was getting everything that I wanted. And the next day he had images edited and ready for me to view! I would definitely recommend Ryan if you want a fun, professional shoot with amazing images as a result!
