Ruthy is top notch! She took my wedding dress and fit it to me perfectly! I couldn’t have felt more beautiful. I also bought her fairy godmother package, where she comes the day of your wedding and steams all dresses, helps fluff your dress and basically anything else is asked of her to do with dresses or suits. Ruthy is amazing!

I could not be more thankful to have found Ruthy! Once I got engaged, I knew that I wanted to use my mom's dress. I also knew I wouldn't fit into it and it was definitely 80s style. I came to Ruthy with this dress and a vision. She created something better than I could have ever dreamt of! My dress was absolutely perfect. I now recommend that everyone have their wedding dress custom made. It fits like a second skin, even after wearing it for over 12 hours! Not only did she make my custom dress from a wedding in 1993, she created my custom hair piece. I took her a headpiece made by my great grandmother. She create my custom hair piece and a way to attach and detach my veil! Ruthy held my hand every step of they way, over a year we worked together. She listened to every word I said. Let alone, she is just a wonderful person. She is so great to work with and become friends! She stuck with me through every fitting, weight loss, and during the special day! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for transforming me into the princess that was inside me!

Ruthy was easily one of the nicest and most enjoyable people to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. She altered my dress perfectly--and it was A LOT of dress. We also used her amazing Wedding Fairy service (see below). I had many, many layers of tulle and lace, as well as a train that was cathedral length. There were many complexities to the dress, including lace appliques, floating lace on the shoulders and back, and very delicate "mesh" on the chest/back of the dress that all required attention, in addition to needing to be hemmed all around and the train bustled! She said this was the biggest dress/longest train she'd ever done, and she did it PERFECTLY. The dress looked, fit, and felt amazing, and the bustle for that huge train looked absolutely amazing, held in place all night, and was beautifully done so that it didn't look like I had a weird poof anywhere. Ruthy and her daughter are truly artists and I would trust them with any wedding gown!

She offers her Wedding Fairy service that ever bride should take advantage of. Ruthy comes to your location on wedding day to steam your dress (!!!) and all of your bridesmaid/Mother of the Bride dresses. She brings and emergency kit with her in case she needs to sew a button, a rip, a zipper, anything, or in case she needs to remove a stain--my junior bridesmaid had a dark pink stain of unknown source on her dress and Ruthy got it out no problem! There was no way we could have gotten my dress steamed and to the venue without wrinkling it and Ruthy solved that problem. She was also there to help me get into the dress and make sure that everything was perfect, all buttons done properly and aligned. It was such a huge relief to have her there on wedding day and she was such a funny, calming presence.

There are angels who walk on this earth to help you in your time of need, and Ruthy is one of them! My mom was battling late stage cancer and vowed to live until my brother’s wedding if I promised to find her a dress to wear. She needed a size 0 with long sleeves and a high neck to cover her chemo port, but such a dress does not exist in the retail universe! I called Ruthy to see if she could make a dress, or drastically alter anything I could buy off the rack. She worked to fit us into her schedule and custom made the perfect dress. It has brought my mom such joy to be able to attend her son’s wedding in style after all she’s been through. Thank you Ruthy, you are our Angel on Earth!! XOXO

I was very nervous about getting my gown hemmed as it was very intricate lace on the bottom. Ruthy did an amazing job preserving the pattern of the lace while making it fit like a glove :)
