Ruth perfectly captured the magical atmosphere of our dreamy desert wedding! My husband and I don’t take a lot of pictures, so we aren’t always comfortable in front of the camera. Ruth & her assistant were both wonderful, with prompts that made us feel completely at ease and produced beautiful, natural photos.

It was blindingly bright out for much of the afternoon, and I really don’t know how she was able to get so many large group photos without most of the guests blinking! I felt like I was squinting the whole time, but you would never know from the photos. It is challenging to capture detail in the darks during a bright day, but her editing was top notch.

We booked her for 8 hours, which covered the end of ‘getting ready’ until mid-way through the dancing. It was well worth getting an assistant, who was able to capture many more photos of the groom & groomsmen, the venue, and the guests! We couldn’t recommend her more highly, and are thankful to have such a lovely record of our wedding.

This review is overdue! Ruth was amazing, wonderful, and pleasant to work with. She was so flexible, we changed dates about three times due to COVID-19 and she was always responsive and supportive through the process. On the wedding day, she was full of energy, very easy going, made us laugh and it almost felt she was part of our family and friends circle. All of our guests enjoyed her energy and we LOVED all the hard work she did to make sure we looked amazing in all of our photos. If I do a reception next year or need another photoshoot in the future I will definitely go with Ruth! Thank you for capturing our beautiful day, Ruth!!!

Seriously, no matter where she takes the pictures or what kind of pictures they are, they always turn out amazing! And she's so calm and helpful during the picture taking process. She's really good!!! 10/10! My husband and I are not cheesy at all, but you'd have no idea from looking at our pictures lol.

We had a great experience with Ruth Marie Photography! They took our engagement and wedding photos and both experiences were great! During our engagement shoot the weather was very hot and tons of flies but looking at our photos you would never know!!!! Our wedding was obviously a big commotion of people and emotions but Ruth and Cole were able to accommodate our large and crazy event and we loved the calm and positive energy they showed us!
