Jalisca poured so much of herself into our florals, from the table decor to the literal tornado she wrapped around one of the posts at our venue every single piece was superb. My bouquet was out of this world, I cannot get over how much I loved it, and my dogs flower collar was *chefs kiss* perfection. Each and every stem was beautifully and intentionally placed. Our florals were the focal point of our wedding decor, I am not joking when I say even the men at our wedding were impressed with the florals. Jalisca is extremely talented, professional, and amazing to be around. Her close proximity to and EXTENSIVE knowledge of the sequoia National park makes her perfect for everything from large weddings to the tiniest elopements. Jalisca from Rustic Roots Floral Design truly made my wedding dreams come true. From day one she was incredibly kind. I came to her during a time of COVID heartbreak, not only did she meet me with compassion, she encouraged me and ensured me she could assist in making our day beautiful. Her kindness meant so much to me during these crazy times. Florals are a HUGE part of your wedding day. Jalisca really takes the time to listen to your vision and then creates a proposal with examples of what she’d provide. It really helps to visualize how your day can come to life. But I was absolutely blown away on the day of our wedding. The florals were beyond gorgeous!!! She installed many pieces for us and each and every one of them was thoughtfully created. I’ll never forget walking into the reception space and saying “I never want to leave!!!!”...THAT’S how gorgeous her work is. I do not even know where to start! Rustic Roots floral design was my first vendor chosen for my wedding this winter, and by far the best choice we made. Everything was stunning and the team was so kind and flexible to the major changes made due to an unexpected downpour. Jalisca made such beautiful floral arrangements for my wedding on 3/11/17. I chose her as our wedding florist because she was so attentive to detail. She sent pictures with every proposal, so I could see exactly how she envisioned the centerpieces, bouquets, etc. I really appreciated that she was willing to work with me until we got everything perfect. She is an absolute sweetheart! When she brought the flowers to the venue, I was absolutely amazed. Everything turned out even more beautiful than the photos she sent me. I especially loved my semi-cascading bouquet, arch pieces, and floral coronet that I wore in place of a veil! Jalisca even stayed during the ceremony to help move the arch decorations and the aisle decorations to various locations in the barn for the reception. She brought all of the extra scraps and decorated the buffet tables too! I was so impressed with all of her work. She even worked within our budget and re-purposed floral arrangements to help us save money!

Working long distance, I described my wedding theme and the look I wanted to Jalisca with Rustic Roots. Within a few emails, I was shown what flowers would be used and put at ease knowing how flexible she was with my budget. Jalisca drove over 9 hours to personally deliver and do the finishing touches on my table settings. Amazing quality that surprised me, my bridal party and guests. People look at my pictures and say, " you look beautiful but your flowers!!! Now those are amazing!!!" Cascading pink roses, black berry, ivy, orchads... There was so many varieties of flowers and put together nicely so that each piece complimented each other. My mother, I quote " your table decorations were good but after Jali put her final touches, that's when it came together and I knew you would be happy." I was THRILLED!

Jalisca Thomason is an amazing florist! Being someone who not really into flowers I loved everything that she created for us. My flowers and my bridal party flowers were beautiful. She created beautiful center peices for flowers that I like pictures of. The one thing that stops me from giving her a perfect 5 is that she was two short for out boutonniere. She apologized and made us a couple of quick boutonnieres for the fathers and said that she would refund us for the two that she did not have. But all the floral arrangement looked great and they really helped set the theme of my wedding.
