What is the story behind Ruby Oaks Event Venue?
Ruby Oaks Event Venue is a farm wedding venue in Pierson, Florida, about an hour and fifteen minutes from downtown Orlando. Named after Ruby, our resident zebra (yes, really!), it pairs rustic charm with a few surprises you won't find anywhere else, all on private, tree-lined grounds that glow with string lights after dark.
What couples love most is that every part of the day gets its own space. Say your vows outdoors in the Evergreen Garden beneath a heart-shaped floral arch, move to a separate cocktail hour area, then celebrate in The Ruby Room, a converted airplane hangar that is now a climate-controlled reception hall with a draped ceiling, a chandelier, and uplighting you can match to your colors. Ruby Oaks hosts up to 100 guests, and the venue is yours for up to 12 hours, so nothing about your day feels rushed.
Your photos will look like no one else's. Take portraits along the tree-lined drive, in the uplit tree tunnel, or on the white sand beach by the pond, complete with a fire pit and Adirondack chairs. Then visit the animal farm to meet Ruby the zebra, Zoey the zonkey, Charlie the camel, Pablo the donkey, and our highland cows and mini goats.
Getting ready is easy, too. The farmhouse bridal suite and separate groom's quarters are yours all day, and you can turn the celebration into a full wedding weekend by staying onsite in the farmhouse or RV.
Choose the package that fits your vision. The DIY Package gives you the venue and grounds as a blank canvas, with the freedom to bring your own vendors. The All-Inclusive Package takes care of the details for you, including catering, bartending, a DJ, tables and chairs, décor, and a day-of coordinator.
Tours are available any day of the week. Come walk the grounds, meet the animals, and picture your day at Ruby Oaks.

🌳 A Hidden Gem That Feels Like a Dream—Perfect for Reunions and Weddings Alike!
From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by a stunning landscape of towering trees, vibrant plants, and a serene pond with a white sand beach that feels straight out of a tropical postcard. The bonfire area by the water became our nightly gathering spot—s'mores, stories, and laughter under the stars.
🐾 And the animals! Our kids (and let’s be honest, the adults too) were enchanted by the zebra, goat, donkey, cow, and pigs roaming the grounds. It added such a whimsical, joyful energy to the whole experience.
🏡 The accommodations were top-notch. The cozy 3-bedroom house was beautifully maintained and perfect for our older guests, while the upscale RV offered a luxurious glamping experience for those who wanted something a little different. The large porch was ideal for morning coffee and evening chats, with views that made you want to stay forever.
🍸 The plane hangar space was an unexpected showstopper—massive, stylish, and equipped with a full bar and his-and-her bathrooms. When the DJ started spinning, the lights synced with the music and turned the whole space into a vibrant dance floor. It was like having a private club in the middle of nature.
⛳ The putt-putt golf course was a hit with all ages, and the massage chair tucked away in a quiet corner was a welcome surprise for anyone needing a moment of relaxation.
Whether you're planning a laid-back family gathering or a romantic, nature-infused wedding, Ruby Oaks offers the perfect blend of elegance, fun, and comfort. It’s a venue that truly has it all—and then some.
