Rosewood Events is an elegant, private wedding venue in Petaluma, California. This private estate has 600 acres of breathtaking views and the natural beauty of flower gardens, lavender fields, willow trees, and redwood groves. The venue's openness will help create the romantic and magical feel of your dreams. The stunning countryside views will be the perfect backdrop for your wedding day and provide beautiful images to cherish for a lifetime.

Facilities and Capacity
This unique Wine Country venue can host up to 200 guests in various outdoor and indoor areas. From the rolling hills and ridgetop views, your wedding will appear as if in a classic fairy tale. Couples will be immersed in the country's loveliness as they relax and prepare for their big day in the beauty of the charming cottage, restored barn, and grand tent. Time is your friend; you'll have time to relax and prepare for your big day on the estate. This is not a day-of, hurry, in-and-out venue, AND you are welcome to bring your own alcohol with no corkage fees.

Services Offered
Rosewood Events offers five packages depending on each client's needs, wedding size, and duration. The site also provides many attractive amenities, which include two separate dressing quarters, two bars, a cocktail area with a gazebo, an outdoor BBQ, games, and furniture. Our popular Rosewood Package consists of a multitude of luxurious amenities such as a bridal cottage, groom's quarters, welcome beverage station, a beautiful, grand reception tent for dinner and dancing with draping, lighting, and chandelier, a fabulous ceremony site including an arbor and ceremony chairs, a romantic first-look pergola, flower gardens, games area and a trip to the top of the ridge top for a glorious sunset view and pictures with a private driver. A venue that feels like home

My husband and I fell in love with Rosewood Events the minute we stepped foot on the property. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, with a rose garden, beer garden style cocktail area and large classy tent with walls for dinner/dancing. My husband and I had our wedding ceremony at a Catholic Church nearby, so Rosewood Events fit our style, location proximity and needs perfectly! We were immediately drawn to Ann, the owner of Rosewood Events, who was beyond kind, understanding, and professional. Ann answered all of our questions with a prompt and direct response, which we greatly respected as this allowed us to have a clear vision of how our day would run. We felt that Ann and the property had a warmth that made you feel like you were at your family’s home, and we knew we wanted to celebrate our wedding at a location that would feel like home! In fact, we toured two other popular wedding venues around the area that felt cold and staged, which solidified our decision that Rosewood Events would encompass our love properly. On the day of the wedding, our wedding party got ready on site, and the bridesmaids cottage and groomsmen quarters were a perfect getting ready location. After we arrived back at Rosewood Events from the church, Ann greeted my husband and I with drinks, and throughout the day she, along with her daughter, Juliana and husband, Dan, checked in on my husband and I to make sure everything was going perfectly. I saw how hard Ann, her family, and her whole crew worked to make everything go smoothly! Ann went above and beyond to drive my husband and I around the property in her ATV so we wouldn’t have to walk to different photo locations. We truly felt loved and cared for on such a special day. Her crew of workers who helped guests park, as well as set up and break down as the day went by gave me major Yellowstone vibes (great TV show lol), which again encompassed the family feel who was there to get the job done in an efficient manner. Aside from the gorgeous property, Ann went above and beyond when we had a hiccup with our initial catering vendor. THREE weeks prior to our wedding, the catering company we initially hired ghosted Ann and our wedding planner during a scheduled venue walk through. This, coupled with recent lack of communication between the catering company towards our planner, Ann saw the red flags and knew our wedding would have its challenges should we have kept them as our catering vendor. While my wedding planner handled the situation like a champ, Ann personally reached out to me on several occasions to make sure everything was okay and to check in on my husband and I. I was overjoyed with her personal touch and care as I was stressed out about the situation. I knew we were in good hands when we hired Rosewood Events but this situation truly showed me how wonderful Ann and her venue is. I highly recommend Rosewood Events!!

Rosewood Events made my dream wedding a reality

Falling in love with Rosewood Events was truly the second best decision I made on my wedding day (besides marrying my wonderful now husband!). The setting is defined by its natural beauty, the golden rolling hills make for a legendary backdrop. Believe the glowing reviews. Ann saved my wedding day in so many ways that I can’t even keep track of them. The biggest win of working with Ann is she resolves issues (from other vendors, not Rosewood) like a top-of-the-line wedding coordinator, before you or your guests could ever notice them. As a bride, it was hard to get stressed out at Rosewood because of how much you are able to trust the team. I can’t thank them enough for all of the work they put into making our big day special. Last, I’ll mention a few other highlights: the roomy bridal and groom cottages, the elegant grand marquee tent, the thoughtful design of the cocktail area and flower gardens, the bathroom setup (not a single complaint from my extremely picky family!), and the golf carts that whisk you around like you’re royalty! We are so happy we chose Rosewood Events and highly recommend them for all couples looking for a venue!

A dream under the stars

We hosted our end of summer wedding at Rosewood, and it was a perfect day! Not only are the grounds at Rosewood beautiful and well laid out to support an effortless flow between cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing, but Ann is an incredible event manager. When you choose Rosewood, you also choose to work with Ann who is extremely organized, personable, and direct. She helped us find and organize all of our vendors (who we also loved), she checked in several times to see how she could help push our plans along (and sometimes that was just listening to our worries and reassuring us), and she worked right along side our day-of-coordinator to manage the day. Whenever we saw Ann, we felt relieved and confident that things would go smoothly.

We started our day at the whimsical bridal cottage where we got hair and makeup done, put dresses on, and took first-look photos under the pergola and in the red wood trees. We left for the church service and returned to a fully set up welcoming cocktail hour that started with a welcome drink under the willow tree and continued to the cocktail area bar in the gardens. The big white tent has a warm, intimate light and feel, and easily transitioned into a fun dance atmosphere. We snuck out for sunset photos on the ridge top which was one of our favorite moments of the day!

We highly recommend Rosewood for your wedding celebration! It is a beautiful venue, and Ann will ensure your day feels effortlessly smooth (because she is running around behind the scenes for you!).

Absolute Perfection!

I cannot even BEGIN to sing the praises for Rosewood Events and Ann and Dan! Everything about our experience was seamless from start to finish. I work for a nonprofit and approached Ann about hosting an event for a group of top fundraisers. She was such a delight to work with, we toured the venue in the winter, and Ann met us with a book of pictures to show us exactly what the layout would look like when the tent was in place and everything was in bloom!

Ann also helped send over all kinds of information needed for booking vendors and coordinating with the venue. She outlined everything we would need to know leading up to the event, and made sure to check in that we had everything we needed. Since we were traveling in from Texas, she even offered local recommendations for us to use throughout our entire weekend.

And that's all before the event..

Day of was nothing less than PERFECTION. Ann took care of every detail, down to including flowers coordinated to our color scheme in the rest rooms! We had several attendees that need additional help with mobility challenges, and Ann's team was always ready to help transport them to and from the parking lot or anywhere needed!

Dan helped coordinate our shuttles and made sure our arrival and departure we as easy as possible. Their entire staff was professional, kind and exceedingly helpful. Anytime I could even think to need help, they were ready and available to assist! I was running late to the venue with decorations and as soon as I arrived Ann gave me a big hug and told me she was so glad to see me and that she was starting to get nervous on my behalf! I felt like I was being welcomed by a friend and not just a vendor.

All this to say, Rosewood Events is beautiful, so easy to work with, and provides the most incredible background for an event. I cannot recommend them enough! You will not be disappointed.

The Best Venue

Rosewood and Ann make for the BEST wedding venue. Firstly, the venue is gorgeous with all the beautiful gardens, rolling hills and so many little gem spots that make for the amazing wedding photos. The venue is really great because it allows couples to have everything in one venue yet also have different areas for each part of the wedding so you never are using one spot for multiple events unless that's what you want. The majority of our guests commented on what a beautiful and wonderful venue we had. The venue has so much to offer and is really the perfect place for a wedding. And then there is Ann, where do I even begin...count yourself lucky if you get to work with Ann! With Ann on your team, there is no way your wedding day won't be everything you want it to be. She really puts the couple first and wants your day to be special. You can feel how invested she is in your special day and the difference that has in the entire planning process. Rosewood was the first and last venue we looked at and it was such and easy decision. Brides, do yourself a favor and book a tour now. My husband and I will always be grateful for Rosewood and Ann and making our day so special.

Thanks for a great day!

Rosewood was the perfect venue for our 165 guest wedding in July 2025. We heard nothing but compliments from all our guests. The grounds were gorgeous and just right for what we wanted.

Anne and her team were very professional and made sure everything went right. There were a lot of moving parts to our big day, but it all went off without a hitch! Would highly recommend.

Amazing Wedding Venue

Our daughter got married at Rosewood Events at the end of June 2025, and the day was truly everything we hoped for—and more. From the moment we arrived in the morning, Ann greeted us at the gate with warmth and calm, immediately setting the tone for a beautiful, stress-free day.

The venue is breathtaking. Surrounded by rolling hills and peaceful countryside, the setting feels magical and serene. The ceremony in the open field was like something out of a dream, and watching our daughter make her long walk along the fence line was more stunning and emotional than I ever imagined.

The shaded cocktail area offered an inviting space to enjoy appetizers and drinks. The tent provided an elegant and fun atmosphere for dinner and dancing, and with the bar outside, people had the option to enjoy the evening inside or under the stars.
Ann and her team were exceptional and completely attentive to every detail. They managed everything behind the scenes so we could be fully present and enjoy every moment. A special thank-you for how they cared for my grandmother, helping her get around the property with a golf cart and showing her such thoughtful attention.

We’re deeply grateful to Rosewood Events for making our daughter’s wedding day unforgettable. It was joyful, seamless, and absolutely perfect from start to finish. We can’t recommend this venue highly enough!

Absolutely Beautiful in Every Way


We had our son and new daughter-in-law’s wedding at Rosewood Events. The entire day was perfect, and the venue has it all! The sweet bridal cottage and fun groomsmen’s quarters were exactly what we needed to get ready. The pergola, willow tree, rose garden, and rolling hills offer a variety of absolutely gorgeous backdrops for pictures. The tent is so beautiful, and the tables and chairs exceeded my expectations, for sure. The entire property is immaculate and manicured. They also take the bride and groom to the top of the hill for the most breathtaking views and amazing pictures at sunset. Ann is present, very attentive and works hard to ensure the day runs smoothly. She was especially attentive to our guests who required a little extra help walking, giving them rides in the golf cart and offering extra seating when needed. I recommend Rosewood for a beautiful wedding day.

Rosewood Was Everything & More

We cannot thank Ann and her team at Rosewood enough for delivering us the most personal and picturesque wedding. We had been in search of a space that captured the lush beauty in the North Bay without feeling too rustic or inaccessible to families/older guests. This venue was exactly that, and is incredibly unique and spectacular – from the green rolling hills and the tree grove to the lavishly adorned tented reception venue. It felt like a mini destination wedding! Our guests have told us that each portion of the event felt so distinct because of the diversity of surroundings. The first look areas are also a magical bonus for the couple!

Not only was the environment perfect, but Ann went above and beyond to ensure we had a seamless day-of experience. We deeply appreciate her generosity and care for making sure we got everything our families were hoping for. She checked in often, offering novel ideas and insight to tie everything together as we assembled all the moving parts. Whenever something might have posed a challenge, she already had a solution at the ready. She is truly the sweetest, most passionate human, and you cannot put your wedding in better hands.

We would recommend Rosewood in a heartbeat to anyone considering a wedding in the North Bay. We are hoping we will get to enjoy the guest experience at the venue one day as well!

A truly special venue

Ann is truly such a gem! From the moment we met her, we were sold by her warm, welcoming spirit, as well as of course the stunning venue. She really goes out of her way to make you feel special, compared to other venues we toured which felt like wedding factories. After we booked, she always reached out to ask if we needed help or to just to check-in to see if things were moving along. Felt like we had an extra coordinator, which was a huge help. She was always super responsive to my emails and helped coordinate with our vendors and month-of planner.

Our guests loved the venue and said that it was beautiful. The views at sunset were stunning and the tent that comes included with the venue was perfect. Ann includes so much with the venue, like the pergola, many photo locations, tables/chairs. Also the on-site bridal suite and grooms cottage were perfect for getting ready; saved us so much trouble, not having to find a separate getting ready location. Our guests even gave us compliments on the bathrooms!

At the end of the night as we were about to drive away, Ann came running towards us because she found one of the bridesman's wallets when digging in the couch cushions of the bridal suite! That's truly next level of detail and care!

We highly recommend Rosewood and Ann for your wedding venue, especially if you're looking for something with that personal touch!
