I contracted Rodriguez Cigars to be a vendor at my wedding in Key West. The problems started at the booking, I filled out the contract and sent it over, it stated a 50% deposit was due at that time and the rest of the balance would be charged on the day of the event. I was immediately charged the full amount. This was brought up and they offered to refund the other half until the event, I declined and just asked for a paid in full receipt. Of the packages you can choose from there are multiple options, the very base package is a host with two boxes of cigars who will assist guests. This is what I received, not what I paid for and was under contract for. I paid for a host as well as a cigar roller who would be presenting and rolling cigars during the entire time the vendor would be present, I was also told I would get those additional cigars at the end, we also paid extra to have the cigars dipped in aged rum and presented to the guests. I am not sure why I didn’t get the cigar roller or the proper use of the rum, they did give me a bottle of rum at the time and say this is our gift to you...I paid extra for that package so I wouldn’t call it a gift, so they obviously knew what was in the contract. This is obviously my experience with the company and not a reflection on the quality of the cigars which is quite impressive. If you are looking to book as a wedding vender however, maybe look elsewhere.
