Sure there's excellent cake in town, but if you're on a budget, this fills the bill. For the cost of a cheap, potentially disappointing cake, we got a sure-fire hit!

For the venue itself... I absolutely give Rock Springs 10 out of 5 stars! If you are looking for a simple, rustic themed venue, this place is perfect!

For the food/catering... I give Rock Springs a solid 5 of 5 stars! My fiance and I wanted simple "down home" cooking for our rustic, fall-themed wedding. The brisket, chicken, and spiral cut ham were fabulous! The baked potato bar was a home run, for sure! The corn bread muffins, green beans, and corn were perfect, as well!

For the cake... we brought in a wedding cake from an outside vendor, but because Rock Springs is known for their pies, we had a "sheet" pie for our guests and that was gone in about a minute! Soooo good!!!

For the wedding coordinator - Tina and her crew of guys worked SOOO very hard to make our day special and we could not be more thankful. Tina absolutely put her heart and soul into making our wedding even perfect and she really delivered. She is a great listener and wonderful communicator. She has a great eye and knows what needs to be done and takes care of business. She cares about her clients and it really shows!

The only downfall to working with Rock Springs was working their catering manager (?) Angel... she's kind of a disaster. She is not afraid to tell you how busy she is over and over again and uses it as an excuse to not get back to you in a timely manner, forgetting your appointments, or forgetting to write things down or refer to her notes. Her lack of customer service and attention to detail definitely made my fiance and I second guess choosing Rock Springs, but Tina - and the beauty of the venue itself - made us stick with it and we are so glad we did.

Rock Springs definitely has a gem of an event space and a rock star with Tina!!! Angel knows her stuff, but needs to sharpen her professionalism skills quite a bit.

Anything that could’ve gone wrong- did

This venue was my pick and it was an absolute nightmare. Anything this venue Was responsible for went wrong. They singlehandedly caused 98% of all problems with my wedding day. They constantly changed their agreements and I only found out when the situation was encountered. Poor communication. The river was dried up The week of my wedding. I called the venue the day before to confirm some things and was told about the dry River when I told the point of contact the river was half the reason for booking this small outdoor venue I was told the pumps broke quite sometime ago and they had been meaning to fix it but just never got around to it. My husband immediately drove out there and said we could have people out there to fix the pumps they assured me it would be corrected the next day my wedding day and of course it was not. Bartenders had to be tracked down the entire wedding I actually had my bartender girlfriends behind the bar to make drinks for my wedding guests. My wedding was originally booked for April but due to the coronavirus had to be rescheduled for for June. Dreading a June outdoor wedding I decided to contact a rental company and rent a bunch of commercial size tents and coolers. Rock Springs told me that I should cancel that order because they would ensure that the entire outdoor area was shaded and there were several coolers on site. Day of my wedding there was hardly any shade at all there were three coolers provided one was placed behind the bar for their own employees that were hardly there, two coolers were placed under the meal area and only one of which worked. Not only was one of the coolers promised to me given behind the bar but it is also visible in every picture of me coming down the stairs/aisle. So tacky. My nephews and friends had to move the chairs from where they were placed during the ceremony to the tables for the meal Rock Springs included a service fee and promised me numerous times in writing they would take care of this but then told me the day of my wedding following my ceremony that they were no longer able to move the chairs so my own wedding guests had to move the chairs to the tables. It was literally one thing after another with this place and it was horrible. I cannot give you enough examples of stories to steer you away from this place there are so many other options save yourself the headache the additional headache because wedding planning is already stressful and chaotic go with a place that is professional and reliable I could seriously give stories all day about how horrible this place was to have my wedding at
