Shari' was very helpful and exuberant during all the planning and wedding day. The cake and cupcakes she made were beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. They fit our wedding theme so well and she researched how to use new techniques on them to make them more interesting.

Avec Amoore is the best decision anyone could ever make if they want to impress their guests with a great tasting unforgettable wedding cake they will talk about long after any event! The wonderful delicate flavors that lingered divinely even after the taste was long gone were just that memorable - sui generis! 
From the bottom of our hearts we thank you Shari, for not only taking our call on your day off & in the midst of moving shops so you could fit in our wedding cake request, but personally coming all the way up to Fountain Hills AZ with dear Mary to deliver thee most wonderful gluten-free wedding cake we’ve ever had the honor of tasting!  Literally *everyone* at our wedding celebration enthusiastically commented on how “AMAZING” our wedding cake tasted and we have you to thank!!  Plus, they kept asking, “This is gluten free?! It tastes SO GOOD!!”

Avec Amoore went above and beyond to help me out on my wedding day. She is a wonderful baker and the presentation of my wedding cake was beautiful!

I've had just about everything from here & everytime I take a bite, my eyes roll back!!! Love the treats!!

We had special needs with our wedding cake that they were able to accommodate that no one else would!! #1. Driving to Sedona from almost Phoenix, #2. The too 6” for the bride and groom had to be vegan AND couldn’t touch the other two non-vegan layers. They were able to accommodate that and for a fair price!! Then this is August in a house that the ac wasn’t cooperating too well! She chose to stay and try and redo the frosting. She was more worried than we were! She did a fabulous job and the raspberry lemonade cake was absolutely my favorite!!! My son’s vegan red velvet and vanilla buttercream was also delicious!! He did not have to worry about breaking out from his allergies due to dairy on his honeymoon either!! She is the most professional and sweetest baker to work with!! Hire her and you won’t be disappointed!!!

It hurts my heart to leave this review, especially how kind & lovely Sheri is and the efforts she went through to bring our cake to us all the way to Flagstaff. First:

The Positives: Sheri is an amazing & lovely woman. Very warm & welcoming and you can see how she loves her craft & enjoys her work. She’s very detailed to get as much info about the kind of cake you would want and takes extensive notes on it. Her flavors are very on point. Our cake was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. Temperature was on point & the structure was strong. She did a great job on the floral that I gave her to decorate it as well. It was delivered on time, safe & sound.

The Negative: This is the part that hurts me the most - I hate leaving negative reviews, but, I hope this will serve as a learning curve…..The overall design & look of the cake was terrible. I was afraid of this after our cake tasting, due to the fact that her presentation of her samples looked terrible, but, tasted good. She showed me an image on the phone & it looked OK. Seeing it in person - NOT OK. The frosting application was terrible & smudged in a lot of spots & the “Gold” paint design, was not gold, but, rather a mustard brown color that looked like it was finger painted by a kindergarten. Very sloppy & wonky. I spent 45 min photoshopping the one usable photo that was taken, and still working on it. I ended up getting a lot of uncomfortable comments from my family on the cake. On top of that, parchment was left in one of the tiers. After me & my husband cut the top tier, the kitchen staff took the cake to cut the servings, only to discover the parchment, and then, tried to get it out, but, unsuccessful.

I will post photos of the cake and let anyone who sees it, be the judge of it. Who knows? It might or might not be your style. In summary - lovely lady, AMAZING flavors, NOT good on presentation.

I asked Avec Amoore if they were LGBT+ friendly when I requested a cake for my lesbian wedding. They dodged the question 3 TIMES. When I called them out and told them that I had asked 3 times with no answer, they responded "We work to service everyone as we have availability, or connect them to a
Colleague if we are not."
This is a vague way to avoid answering. I have no horse in the race, they can service whomever they want (or don't want). But if you support gay rights, this might not be the place where you spend your hard-earned money. Do with this information what you will.
