Rock and Thunder DJs did an amazing job at our wedding reception. We have no complaints! They are reasonably priced for their DJ service and offer uplighting for extremely cheap compared to other vendors.

Our dj helped keep the crowd entertained and dancing and kept the reception going! He even played longer then requested! Would recommend!

They were a great DJ, keeping the dance floor busy all night long. I was a little disappointed in communication before the wedding and the constant ways they wanted to charge more money for any extra thing.

Overall, I would recommend them. They played the songs we requested and did not play the songs we did not want to be played. The DJ communicated with us throughout the night. They did not announce anniversaries or birthdays that we requested.

I would not recommend this Rock & Thunder DJ service.
First, there was such a lack of communication from the owner. Several emails went unanswered, he responded a bit better to text/phone calls. I even begged him to respond so I knew he was still on board with our wedding.
Second, was told they would be setting up the day of the wedding at 8 am, they showed up at 1:30 pm. I called at 1030 am asking where they were and 30 mins later was told they would be there by 1 pm give or take. (The ceremony time was 330pm, meaning guest would be arriving by 3 pm.) Two hours to set up in 2 locations is not a lot of time.
Third, come ceremony time, there was no background music played, the three songs to be played for the grandparents. parents, and wedding party was not played (all silent). Half of the brides song was played. During the ceremony there was burst of music for 3 seconds (that was not suppose to happen). His reasoning was they were having technical difficulties on 3 different laptops (which is so crazy because it has never happened to them before) but if I look on the bright side they got the bride's song to play via their cell phone due to their quick thinking. Well, IF they would have showed up at the original set up time they could have had all the bugs figured out.
Fourth, he added in charges that was not included in the original paperwork.
Such a horrible and disappointing experience with this DJ who claims they were one of the nations top DJs, twice, in the Modern Bride magazine.

Attended a wedding recently and this was the dj service the bride and groom used. I would not recommend them. Messed up the bridal party intros, dj was grabbing beers and drinking before the bridal party was seated to eat and was hard to find. Spent a lot of time outside on the phone. Also bride and groom requested country music be played but dj was playing jazz, Dean Martin, and like during the meal. I've heard from others that they also had bad experiences with them.
