I don’t even know where to start with how amazing my experience was for my wedding. I was referred by a mutual friend/client and I am so glad I was. I live in NJ and my husband and I had a small wedding in TN. Since we are not from the area I had to trust not only the person referring me, but all of the Instagram pictures I’ve seen. I honestly don’t think I could have picked a better person to trust with my hair! I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted in a picture and only knew a few descriptive words of what I pictured and Carissa NAILED IT! Not only did my hair look amazing, but so did my family’s. She was so beyond professional and personable, I honestly forgot that I had just met her that day! You can not go wrong with trusting this talented woman on your special day. If I ever find myself back in TN and in need for my hair done, I know exactly where to go! Thank you again Carissa for everything!!

I had a massive bridesmaids group 12+ PLUS family members. Carissa went above and behind to organize us and even handled our crazy group on the day of! She was awesome and stress free. Not only that....my hair got curled at 9am and I got married on NYE..in my final sparkler edit (after midnight) my hair was still perfectly in tact. Need I say more??? She is the best in Nash!!!!!!

Aubrey did an fantastic job with my hair and makeup. I truly enjoyed having her there for my photo-shoot too! She made sure everything was perfect and I honestly felt like a million bucks! Highly recommend and can’t wait to have her doll me up again.

Aubrey was quick to respond to my inquiry for makeup for our 50th Anniversary celebration with family and friends. I was so pleased with her artistry. Took about 30 minutes from start to finish, and I felt beautiful when looking in the mirror! Not only have I been to her shop but, she has come to my home in times of need. I reached out to over 30 different hair and makeup peeps. This bride was looking to ball on a budget. The plan was that was to only include me getting full bridal, one of my girls wanted hair and one wanted makeup. So I wasn’t working with a big tab. With this, I found it hard to meet other MUA minimums. Aubrey got back to me almost immediately, which made it so great for the “get it done now while I have the time” type of person I am. Her minimum was basically what I’d pay for bridal, which was super reasonable, and honestly a steal because of the magicalness and passion you get from her. I was an out of town bride, and was planning a trip a week away from our first conversation. She got me booked for the time I was down there for a test run, no problem! She didn’t make me put down a deposit, just counted my test run as all the security she needed. I’m pretty damn awkward, but she made me feel so comfortable during that first session, sipping on champagne the whole time. I came in with inspiration pics, and not only did she NAIL IT, I’m convinced she did it better. A week out from the big day, she hooked me up with an amazing gal for a spray tan and gave me my very first blow out (I’m hooked, I didn’t know my hair was that pretty lol) - and even helped me coordinate the appointments for the few days I had in town before the wedding. Day of the wedding, Aubrey came and made us glow goddess beauty! Out of all of my vendors, she’s the only one I can say delivered above and beyond expectations from start to finish. I wish I lived in Nashville for so many obvious reasons, but one of them is to have Aubrey could do my hair and makeup for all my special moments.

Aubrey was awesome! She was super flexible, responsive, and had such a great energy. My makeup was beautiful and natural- just as I wanted! She also made my bridesmaids and mother look like total bombshells. You’d be lucky to have her with you for any special occasion!

Aubrey is phenomenal! She made me feel so at ease on our wedding day, and so beautiful. She was amazing and met with me multiple times before to discuss looks, hair, color choices for my skin tone - EVERYTHING. My makeup lasted the entire evening - and let’s be real, the whole next day too!! She truly made me feel the most confident version of myself.

A month before my wedding my cousin backed out of doing my hair and makeup, so I was very thankful to find Ritual. Carrissa was super flexible and managed to find time to squeeze in a trial run with less than a month to go. For a girl like me that never has her makeup done, she made me feel like a princess! She listened to my needs and kept it very simple and elegant. After a lot of happy tears, my makeup stayed put all night long (although the fake eye-lashes kept coming loose; maybe I cried too much LOL). She also did my mother-in-law's up-do and my hair which both looked amazing.
