I simply cannot say enough good things about Ricky J's Bakery in Clay, AL! If there were more stars provided I would fill them all! This family business is courteous, professional, offered an exceptional price, delivered (30+ miles away) and set up ahead of time, did a BEAUTIFUL job and not most important but certainly at the top of the list, THE CAKES AND CUPCAKES WERE THE MOST DELICIOUS THAT WE'VE EVER HAD!! We had so many compliments on the cakes; chocolate with chocolate buttercream icing, red velvet with cream cheese icing, vanilla with almond accent and vanilla with buttercream. They were as beautiful as delicious. All I had to do was provide them with a pic of how we wanted them to look and they duplicated them perfectly, from the way we wanted the icing to look on the cupcakes to the naked red velvet cake for the groom. We will NEVER buy our cakes anywhere else. My mouth is watering just thinking about them! Forget waiting for a holiday or an occasion!

Ricky J's did both my daughter's wedding cake and grooms cake. Both cakes were beautiful and absolutely delicious! They were extremely kind and professional at the same time. Very easy to work with and delivered the cakes for a low fee which worked out perfectly. In fact I enjoyed them so much I plan to use them for the grooms cake for my son's upcoming wedding - I highly recommend them.

We had used Janice at Ricky J's previously ordering cakes and she did excellant. However she out did herself on this wedding cake. I actually designed the cake for my daughter and (now) son-in-law. Janice did a very excellant and awesome job. She matched the design exact and the flavoring was great and most impartantly cake was moist and icing not too sweet.

The owner Mrs.Janice did my wedding cake in 2007 and it was sooo good that my hubby and i did not save the top piece we ate it the night of our reception..lol! I have made her my baker for all my events that i have now! Great taste, price, design (she did my son a Michael Jackson cake)! I recommend her to all brides!

The wedding cakes was customize to my husband and I. On our 1 year anniversary our cake was still fresh and delious as our wedding day. They had a friendly and family atmosphere.

This is a small, individually-owned bakery. Services is spectacular and very personalized as a result. My wedding cake was beautiful and we were able to bring in a family recipe for the grooms cake that she used and it was great. She didn't even charge us extra to use that recipe. She came to the church and set everything up for us. Very, very pleased. Would recommend her and use her for other occasions as well.
