We met a few vendors at various events, but after meeting Richard for the first time, we instantly knew. His professionalism is unsurpassed and he truly connects with his clients. He also truly assumes the master of ceremonies role and helps to plan out your day, if necessary. Richard Green was nothing short of wonderful! Very up to date and knowledgeable. We were the type of couple who knew EXACTLY what we wanted and had TONS more music than we absolutely needed for our event. He made sure that our high priority selections were played and even threw some in that we hadn't thought of that were perfectly timed. Richard definitely knows his way around a great party. We received so many compliments on how he kept the party going without being intrusive. Made our entire event seamless and the best time!

Richard Green was the best decision we could have made for our wedding. We were married at Rock Hill Plantation House, the wedding venue he owns, and hired him as our DJ/MC as well. He provided our ceremony music which made for the most beautiful ambiance and we had SO much fun at the reception! People are still raving about how much fun they had. He is incredibly poised and charismatic and he made for an amazing, lighthearted and entertaining evening. He is funny without being obnoxious and provided the perfect amount of intros/speaking without taking away from the music at all. We could not have been happier with our decision to hire Richard and he is worth every penny!

I cannot thank DJ Richard enough! I contacted him late in planning because we switched our date due to covid and needed a new DJ. I am a firm believer in things happen for a reason because booking DJ Richard at the last minute was the best decision. He was flexible, professional, and a joy to work with. He also works well with other vendors and goes with the flow. He created a great playlist for our wedding based off of a few songs we provided. Richard was absolutely fantastic! In all honesty, I didn’t really want to have the whole wedding. I had seen too many friends stressed out while planning their weddings; it seemed to take all of the fun out of the process. But I was convinced to do it and when it came time to start looking at venues, Rockhill Plantation was the first we visited. Right from the start, Richard put me at ease. He clearly loves what he does and is so happy to be able to devote himself to his wedding business full time. His desire to give couples their perfect day just how they imagined is clear as soon as you talk with him. The plantation itself is stunning. It’s just the right size- everything is close together but not on top of each other. It was a gear fit because we had a few close family members who aren’t able to walk very far or navigate difficult terrain (like some of the wineries I visited). And of course, there are goats! After we visited a few other venues, we wondered why we even bothered because Rockhill and Richard were on a completely different level. As we were in the process of planning, every time we hit a snag or crisis, Richard was there to talk myself and my mother down, and assure us that it was going to be ok. Not only did he make us feel better, but also he had everything under control. We also hired Richard as our DJ and couldn’t have been more pleased! He was the perfect master of ceremonies and was really interested in getting to know what music was a good fit for us. I met with him a few weeks before the wedding to go over music and some special requests. He literally played everything I wanted, including some things I hadn’t thought of. But Richard is that good. He made our wedding day so much better than I could have ever dreamed of! You can trust him with your music, your venue and your wedding…he will not disappoint. Richard was the DJ at our wedding on September 13, 2020, he was made sure that our music was perfect and went above and beyond to make sure he had all the music we wanted. Richard is very professional I would definitely recommend him to anyone that needs a DJ. I would most definitely use him again if I need a DJ.

Richard is amazing to work with! He kept our guests entertained, engaged and excited throughout the entire reception. In addition, he is such a professional! He focused on building relationships and it is so easy to talk with him about what you want/need for your big day. His communication with the other vendors was superb.
