DJ Richard Green was absolutely amazing to work with. Our biggest request when picking a wedding DJ was someone who knew how to keep all ages of our guests entertained and on the dance floor, and Richard went above and beyond to meet that. He is very personable and charismatic, and he brings such a great energy to his DJ set. Whether it was working with him on transitioning our reception entrance into our first dance, putting together the anniversary dance, or scheduling certain songs at the best times to get people on the dance floor, DJ Richard was easy to work with and helped create a perfect day. He really caters to exactly what you want as a couple and is very flexible in accommodating any request. All of our guests loved our DJ and we have heard so many compliments in the weeks after about not only how great our music was, but how friendly the DJ was when they interacted with him. He was such a awesome DJ and we cannot recommend him enough!! -

Richard Green is fabulous!
My husband and I have hosted three weddings for our three daughters and have used Richard all three times. He has exceeded our expectations each and every time. He is wonderful and truly cares about helping to make the reception run smoothly! He keeps everyone engaged and the dance floor is always a ton of fun! We HIGHLY recommend Richard Green. -

Wedding Dj
Richard is very professional and helpful in keeping everything running smoothly from the ceremony to the reception and everything in between. This is our second experience in using Richard as a DJ for weddings. First time was in 2021 for our middle daughter and just recently for our oldest daughter in October 2023! All of our requests were met above and beyond. -

I cannot thank DJ Richard enough! I contacted him late in planning because we switched our date due to covid and needed a new DJ. I am a firm believer in things happen for a reason because booking DJ Richard at the last minute was the best decision. He was flexible, professional, and a joy to work with. He also works well with other vendors and goes with the flow. He created a great playlist for our wedding based off of a few songs we provided. He also recommended some great songs when we had no idea what to choose. You can't go wrong booking DJ Richard! -

Y'all, I am convinced Richard is the best DJ possibly ever.
I have to start with the best part... our reception music! I can not even tell you how many people came up to us during and after our wedding day saying that Richard was the. best. DJ and played the best music of any wedding they had been to. Even our coolest friends, who have been to dozens of weddings, said Richard was the best! Richard truly knows how to read a crowd and plays what will keep people on the dance floor. Our guests (of all ages) danced all. night. long. We truly owe our party to Richard and can not be more pleased with our music and the flow of our evening.
We got married at Rock Hill Plantation House in Stafford, VA where Richard is the venue host. We loved the convenience of using Richard, who, obviously, knows his own venue in and out and what worked in the space!
Months before our day, we received very well organized day-of planning sheets which made me, an over-planner, feel so confident about our decision. Richard got a feel for what music we wanted for our reception, mapped out our ceremony music, familiarized himself with our wedding party, and made sure we were on the same page with a timeline of events -- all this planning was my dream and made me feel SO chill on our day!
Richard made sure all of our events on the day-of ran so smoothly and it really felt like we had a friend guiding our day and guests along (he truly makes you feel like family!) From start to finish, Richard was amazing and we can not recommend his services enough :) -

If you want a perfect night that has a great flow, excellent music choices, and a professional leading the way than you must hire Richard Green!
We had our wedding at Rock Hill Plantation and hired Richard to DJ which felt like the best of both worlds. He sends out a thorough questionnaire and then the follow up meeting ensures he has all the must plays and the overall feel of the wedding, reception, and cocktail hour down. He gave us an overall timeline at our meeting which worked out great. He even found some obscure family favorite polkas for my Polish family to take over the dance floor.
My favorite part was the flow of the whole evening. He spaced out every big event like the parent dances, the toasts, and the cake cutting so that the evening was full of special moments and no one was bored or wandered off. The dance floor was always packed too as the mixture of music was perfect for the crowd we had. He's excellent at reading the room and using songs to keep people coming back for more. He was very attentive to Dan and I as well letting us know where we were in the evening and making sure we had everything we needed. He's friendly with the guests, efficient with the time, not a bit over the top or corny. Richard was a wonderful addition to our night and we would hire him again in a heartbeat!

We were the type of couple who knew EXACTLY what we wanted and had TONS more music than we absolutely needed for our event. He made sure that our high priority selections were played and even threw some in that we hadn't thought of that were perfectly timed. Richard definitely knows his way around a great party. We received so many compliments on how he kept the party going without being intrusive. Made our entire event seamless and the best time! -

Richard was the DJ at our wedding on September 13, 2020, he was made sure that our music was perfect and went above and beyond to make sure he had all the music we wanted. Richard is very professional I would definitely recommend him to anyone that needs a DJ. I would most definitely use him again if I need a DJ. -

He is very professional and has a great attitude, we knew right away that he was gonna be our DJ. He was always very quick to respond to any questions we had and gave us plenty of advice which was very helpful. I really wouldn't recommend using anyone but Richard Green, he exceeded all our expectations and we cannot thank him enough! Thank you Richard, we are forever grateful.

The music was perfect and he was helpful in making suggestions and working with the bride & groom to make sure he had the exact line-up they wanted. He also acted as master of ceremonies & did a fantastic job of covering all the bases and keeping the event on schedule. I would highly recommend Richard for your event.
