Highly recommend Eric Rhodes and Rhodes Entertainment for all your DJ and MC needs. We used Eric for our wedding on May 1st, 2021 and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. When you hire Eric you don't just get a great DJ that will keep the party going til the last song. You get a true Master of Ceremonies. Eric helped us find fun entertaining things for our guests that included things other than music such as games and stories. He helped us develop the schedule for our evening to make sure things flowed well from ceremony through the reception and worked with our wedding coordinator. He truly knows music and the wedding industry and will be a key player in making your wedding or event a success!

Finding the perfect DJ for our wedding was our number one priority when planning. My family LOVES to dance! We did a ton of research and met with about six different DJs. When we had our initial consultation with Eric, we automatically knew that he was the perfect fit for us. He was so knowledgeable, caring, and friendly! We also have a strong love of music and struggled with narrowing down all the songs that we wanted played at our reception. We sent Eric a very large spreadsheet of our music requests and guest requests, and he did such an amazing job of balancing everything between our cocktail hour, dinner, and dance! Eric played every song that we loved during our dance so we didn't sit down once for 2.5 hours! I wish that we had another wedding to plan just so that we could hire Eric again! From our first meeting through the day-of, Eric went above and beyond every step of the way to make sure we had the most amazing celebration at our wedding! In addition to being a fantastic MC and curating the perfect playlist to keep the dance floor full the whole night, he also provided invaluable insight and guidance during the planning process to help us create our day-of timeline as well as ensure we had thought through the important details that often get overlooked. What can we say to adequately sum up our experience working with Rhodes Entertainment? Eric is a true professional and was incredible from start to finish. We booked with him over a year in advance and in that time, we met virtually (thanks COVID) and corresponded via email many times to discuss wedding plans. He was attentive and quick to respond. He really values his clients; he makes that very apparent.

Eric's ability to mix music and transition from song to song was commented on all through the night. Music was playing while people ate and mingled which set the mood perfectly. Not only are his DJ skills WAY above par, so is his ability to MC. He introduced our dances, and speeches. He reads the room and feels the crowd. He was accommodating and flexible. Honestly, I don't have enough words to describe how absolutely perfect he made our day.

One thing is for sure. A DJ can make or break your wedding. It was an investment and one I am TRULY happy we spent the money on. I could not be more thankful for Eric and how special he made our day. Ryan and I can't wait for the next excuse to use him again.

It became clear that Eric is passionate about what he does from the moment we met him and we instantly knew he would bring what we were looking for. We had our wedding at the Boise Depot with the ceremony in the gardens, toasts in the Hall, and dancing on the patio. Eric made sure everything went on without a hitch. He really listened to our vision, played the perfect songs at the perfect moments, and made sure the party didn’t stop!

Throughout the planning the goal was to make sure we could dance for the longest time possible. He made sure that happened without rushing us. I personally did not stop dancing from start to finish and so many of our guests kept saying I’ve never danced so much in my life, and let us know when the anniversary party is because we can’t wait to have that much fun again!
