Reynolds Lake Oconee
Approximately 90 miles east of Atlanta and about 70 miles west of Augusta in the rolling lake country of Georgia, Reynolds Lake Oconee is a club and resort of uncommon character. With 117 holes sitting on six golf courses, multiple dining venues led by our Certified Master Chef, 4 full-service marinas, sporting grounds, and 21 miles of walking and biking trails, Reynolds Lake Oconee is an extraordinary community offering distinct venues and overnight accommodations overlooking forests, fairways, and the sparkling waters of Lake Oconee.
No matter the size of your wedding celebration, Reynolds Lake Oconee has the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception venues to make every wedding dream a reality. From the beautifully restored 19th-century Sandy Creek Barn, to our Great Waters clubhouse offering stunning views of Lake Oconee, and finally the Rock House right on the lake for small intimate weddings, Reynolds has the perfect backdrop for your wedding day.
The Sandy Creek Barn- Overlooking a 44-acre stocked pond and two-story boathouse, the Sandy Creek Barn at Reynolds Lake Oconee is a completely restored wood-beam barn located on 812 acres. Sandy Creek Barn was originally built in 1820 by Gideon Widemire, who spent several years collecting timber from all over the state of Pennsylvania to build the large dairy barn. Discovered in 2005, the barn was transported to Georgia, reconstructed and restored to a magnificent 6,750+ sq. ft. lodge on its present site at Reynolds Lake Oconee. It features exposed hardwoods, rugged stone accents, an antique saloon bar, covered terrace, and outdoor event porch.
Great Waters Clubhouse sits atop a sloping hill with stunning views of Lake Oconee and the Great Waters golf course. This is the perfect site for lakeside weddings and intimate gatherings. The clubhouse offers bay windows and a broad-wrap around porch overlooking the lake, while the large event lawn is ideal for outdoor celebrations.
The Rock House- Aptly named The Rock House, this rustic venue is a replica of the Reynolds family’s turn-of-the-century hunting lodge which currently sits at the bottom of Lake Oconee. With indoor and outdoor fireplaces, a large veranda overlooking the lake and stone walls with a high wood beamed ceiling this venue is intimate, cozy and will leave a lasting impression for an intimate wedding.

The Rock House was a great Rehearsal Dinner Venue
The Rock House was perfect for us: The right size for the Rehearsal Dinner, cozy inside as well as a great back deck for outside socializing and cigars. I highly recommend the Rock House and the planners at the Ritz.Sent on 03/02/2020

We had a very positive experience with our daughter’s wedding. We received numerous compliments on the food and service. Our florist was wonderful to work with and worked well with our venue space.Sent on 03/02/2020
