I am an ordained Interfaith Minister, a graduate of the class of 2009 from One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in New York city. I have been a chaplain for the Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit for some time now and decided to also bring my gifts to a happier forum and officiate weddings as well. While chaplaincy is rewarding work, there is nothing quite like being in the joyful presence of Love and the promise of 'happily ever after'.
The decision to make a lifetime commitment to another is an act of choice. Your ceremony is the ritual that sanctifies this act and provides the opportunity for you to share your decision with your family and friends. More importantly, it is the foundation of your marriage. Whether your ceremony is being witnessed by an intimate group or your larger community, this ceremony is the ‘ground’ in which your union can take root, grow and flourish.
When you select me to officiate your ceremony, you will receive so much more than just someone to make your union legal. I enjoy getting to know you and you getting to know me, whether on the phone or in person. The words I speak at your ceremony, will be honest and heartfelt because I am no longer merely the officiant you found on Weddingwire, but the person who will be uniting you in marriage, sharing one of the most special moments of your life. I will work with you throughout the process of planning every element of your ceremony; from the words of welcome to the pronouncement and everything in between. I will guide you through the process of planning a ceremony that is meaningful to you and your partner, one that will be uniquely your own. Your ceremony will speak for you and about you. I will advise you on the required elements, suggest readings as well as guide you through the process of creating your own personal vows of commitment and statement of intent. I will also offer suggestions for rituals that are symbolic of two people joining their lives in friendship, love and passion.
I have officiated weddings as far as Mexico and California, northern New York state, D.C. and Maryland. I am licensed to perform weddings in New York State and the District of Columbia. While it is wonderful to travel to great locations, it does increase your cost since my travel expenses, room and board are your responsibility.
I am looking forward to serving those in the Central Susquehanna Valley where great wedding venues abound!

We really liked that she sat down and talked to us prior to the ceremony so she could get to know each one of us. I believe that helped make the ceremony more personal and in turn more meaningful.Sent on 12/04/2014

Jasmine is truly amazing. She not only takes time to get to know you, but she you can tell she actually DOES want to know you! She wrote the most beautiful ceremony for us and there was not a dry eye in the house! Her voice is soothing, yet powerful. I can't tell you how many people came up to me and commented on what a wonderful ceremony we had. She is simply the best!!!
Jasmine is my first recommendation to anyone looking for an officiant for their wedding! Her ceremonies are beautiful and sweet. She concentrates on what is important: the love between two people. Jasmine is truly top notch!

Reverend Jasmine has a depth and breath of knowledge about wedding ceremonies and will make the whole process an absolute delight. She creates beautiful ceremonies that focus on the couple's unique relationship. It has been my good fortune to call Jasmine a friend for many, many years, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to couples who feel the ceremony is the reason for the celebration.
