Congratulations, You're Getting Married!

Congratulations on your engagement and welcome to my web site. On the day of your wedding, your marriage vows will become an expression of shared love, admiration, understanding and acceptance. Certainly, the ceremony, itself, will be the most important expression of your fidelity to one another. No two couples are alike and, consequently, no two ceremonies are alike.

It is my wish to help you plan a distinctive wedding service, be it religious, non-denominational, interfaith or spiritual, which will fit your personal needs.

Services Offered

As you plan your special day, please keep in mind that my services include:

• Pre-Wedding Conference

• Unlimited Telephone and Email Communication

• Participation at the Rehearsal (TBD) In most instances, I am able to attend the wedding rehearsal. However, given my schedule during peak wedding times this is not always possible. In such cases I will make every effort to arrange with couples for a mutually convenient time, prior to the wedding, to go over any last-minute details. I am also happy to create a virtual (screencast) rehearsal that can be viewed on YouTube.

• A Religious, Non-Denominational, Interfaith or Spiritual Marriage Ceremony

A traditional marriage celebration and blessing or a more contemporary service can be provided. You are welcome to choose or write your own vows and include elements that are of particular significance to you. Arrangements can be made in person, by phone, Skype, Zoom, FaceTime or through email. It is my wish to know each couple as individuals and to work with you to create a perfect ceremony that speaks to your hopes and dreams.

At our initial meeting, I collect as much information as possible and then write a service based on your requests and needs. We generally cover the overall format of the service, any special readings and/or ceremonial aspects that you may wish to include (e.g., Unity Sand or Candle Ceremonies, etc.), special vows, tributes to family members or friends who have passed away or who are unable to be in attendance, the order of the processional and recessional, etc.

Once my services are booked, and in the weeks that follow, I draft a service that we use as a working document. Accompanying the initial draft is a private YouTube audio/visual screencast which allows the couple to hear and see an explanation of the various elements of the service. From that point on you are welcome to make changes, as you deem necessary. Generally, subsequent correspondence and updates are done via email and by phone.
