When my fiancé told me he had a cousin who was a photographer, I thought, "That’s cute". But then I saw Mike's work, and when a single image can bring you to tears, you don’t question, you try and book! Thankfully, Mike was kind enough to fly from Cali to join us in rural NC to be our wedding photographer. He was honestly one of the best and easiest decisions we made. I'm not always the camera's biggest fan, but Mike was so relaxed and still so professional that we often forgot he was even the photographer! I appreciated his gentle yet specific posing directions and guidance, as it made the whole awkward process feel more natural. Mike wanted to make sure he got all of the shots that were the most important to us, and was dedicated to making not only us feel as comfortable as possible, but also our families and guests. From the moment I met him it was evident that Mike really wanted to do whatever he could to make our photos reflect who we were as a couple and I am beyond grateful for him. Mike is a genuinely awesome guy that takes truly incredible photos, and I am so excited and proud to now get to call him family!

Everything started off well when we met up with mike Contract was made, deposit was given. Due to COVID we had to reschedule the wedding and getting a hold of him to let him know was a bit of a hassle but he eventually responded but after not receiving a response months later we requested a refunded and still received no refund. Our wedding came and he did not show up and we never heard back from him I plan on making a report and hope something is done.

I work for a local Wedding Venue and have worked alongside Mike and loved his work. My husband and I decided we wanted him there to shoot our special day at my place of work; there was a stand in for Mike on the wedding day which was no problem to us as we were aware that this could happen.

We received our Instagram teaser just a day or so after our wedding and absolutely fell in love; we could not wait to receive our full video and re-watch all of the important moments of our wedding day.

January 2019 came around, 3 months after our Wedding and trust me I know how long Video can take working in the industry I know it is not something that is completed overnight for your full video but I wanted to just check and see what the timeline was looking like for our video's completion.

It took a little while for Mike to respond, I did send a follow up email and eventually heard back from him in last February saying our video was complete and that he would send it over the following week as soon as he returned from Yosemite. I couldn't contain my excitement! I let our families know that it would be here shortly as they were as excited as we were to see the final product.

This is where everything turned negative and heart breaking. It has now been two full months since that email and still no video. My husband and I have both sent multiple emails to Resistance Media's personal email, Mike's professional and personal instagram, we have reached out to the videographer who shot our Wedding day and he did respond shocked that we have not heard back from Mike; we have called their business numerous times for the past few weeks every other day with no answer and their mailbox being full.

At this point my husband and I are both completely heart broken as we trusted this company with capturing our very special day and had our hopes up that our video would be here two months ago as we were told it was complete.

The pure unprofessional demeanor and posting new items on Instagram each week but not responding to a single email, direct message or phone call is beyond me as I do not believe this is how you effectively run a business.

I truly hope there is a light at the end of this tunnel but hope any future couples do not have to deal with this.
