We have been part of the Ogden/SLC music scene since 2005 and through the years we have grown musically and now our set includes an eclectic mix from many styles. We’re your iTunes on shuffle! Each member of the band has years of experience in working bands and brings professionalism, musicianship and high energy to every performance when it's time to hit the stage. Whether it’s Pop, Rock, Country, Blues, Funk, or Reggae "The Pony" can do it all and we love what we do. If it’s a good song, we’ll do it and we’ll do it well, regardless of the genre. We can tailor the event to whatever the bride and groom would like (mostly the bride, who are we kidding). No matter what the style, every show is a mission to get the crowd involved, caught up in their good time and make them dance all night! Our full set list is available to review upon request.
The band includes the husband and wife vocal duo of Tom and DeAnn Sorensen. Tom and Deann have been playing and singing together since high school. Tom is the heart of the band; he holds everything together with his rhythmic bass and impressive vocal style. DeAnn plays rhythm guitar as well as singing most of our songs with her gifted voice. Local legend Zach Trevino, from Austin Texas, is on left-handed lead guitar and will supply some tasty licks all night long and rounding out the rhythm section is Chris Stilling on drums. Red Shot Pony is THE BEST BAND! They are professional, kind and responsive. They also sound AMAZING! Love their harmonies, great song choices, and good mix of music with something for everyone. Our guests loved dancing and interacting with them :) Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and authentic group.

The perfect band/music selection
