Red Lion Pub catered out wedding of 80 guests and it was perfect. We choose the Italian team buffet dinner. The food was incredible, and there was plenty of food left over. My biggest worry was not having enough food, but they truly delivered. The food was hot and ready to serve when they arrived, it was set up fast and everything was great. I got nothing but great feedback on how awesome the food was. My nephews who had attended 3 weddings this year and would not eat a thing at those weddings, ate there whole plates at mine. The food was awesome and I don't think this review is enough to say how grateful I am for them taking care of the food. The price was reasonable too. I don't have pictures of the food since I don't have my photos from the photographer yet.

Though our wedding hasn't happened yet, we are beyond BEYOND excited to have them cater for us. They have been so laid back and easy to work with, and they even worked us into their busy schedule at the last minute. We came down to sample the food and everything was delicious. I have been extra impressed as I am allergic to gluten and dairy and they are helping to find some options even I can eat. We are so excited for our wedding day!

Great food! Great service! They did our catering for our wedding at a ranch! People loved the salmon! I still get compliments on the salmon!

We had our rehearsal dinner physically at a family members home and it was very casual to balance out the activities of a wedding weekend. In hunting for the perfect caterer my mother-in-law found Red Lion Pub and they will cater events. They are booked throughout the summer and don't do a lot of advertising, but they don't have to because they food speaks for itself!

We went in and met with the owner and ordered a few plates of what we were interested in and the food was indeed amazing. We offered Salmon and Tri-Tip Steak at the dinner along with a summer salad and roasted vegetables. We also had Red Lion host our bar and it was all included in one bundled price per person. George was great to work with and the food was outstanding!!

So far, amazing. They are so flexible with the menu and have a catering truck. Plus they provide everything you need!

My husband and I have eaten dinner to-go from Red Lion before, and knew the food was delicious! We wanted a very casual setting for the rehearsal dinner where everyone would feel comfortable and the kids could run around in the warm sunshine. We chose Manito Park as our location and rented the large event center area. We arranged to have Red Lion BBQ cater which they did at an AMAZING price!! Everyone loved the food, the weather was great, and it was all done for under $1,000. We were pretty happy with the outcome. :)

This business is not professional at all. When we first booked a tasting we showed up and they “didn’t know we were coming” and had nothing for us. That should’ve been a red flag be we gave them the benefit of the doubt as the dad of the owner said he would go whip something up and we could try the meat but as for sides all he could do was the caesar salad and take his word for the other sides. We talked over the menu and were presented with a barbecued chicken breast and leg, barbecue pork, and ribs. We chose to have the chicken and the barbecue pork as well as 3 other sides. They wanted us to call about a month in advance with a total number so they could have the correct count and that was easy. Then come the day of the wedding, the ceremony was set at 4 and food to be served directly after. The wedding coordinator had called the dad of the business and he was “too busy” and “overbooked” himself so he couldn’t be there on time. Then when he did show up he wanted to drive his van directly up to the catering tent which bordered the wedding ceremony, but luckily the venue would not allow him to ruin the ceremony. Then as we were going through the line and seeing the food it was not even what we had agreed on. There were extra salads and only one protein. They did not bring any help and only had one staff member after being promised a “team” and he did not say longer than a half an hour before doing a “last call” for food. He packed up all of the left overs while we were still eating and did not have an invoice for us. When the caterer was talked to about being late and blatantly disrespectful towards the ceremony that was happening, he did not care enough to even make excuses. I would not hire him and I would save yourself the stress on your wedding day and stay far away from this business!
