Our wedding was June 11 at Winters Creek Lodge, and Rebel Pioneer Bakery did an absolutely wonderful job! Not only at the event, but in the months leading up to the event. Mollie and her team were always responsive. From the initial phone call, she was so kind and helpful explaining how things work and answering any and all questions! She offered cake tasting boxes to clients because in person cake tasting was not going to work due to COVID. As the event got closer, her team did an amazing job hammering out the final details! Our cake looked exactly like the inspiration, tasted delicious and made for a fun cake cutting! Thanks Rebel bakery, you guys killed it!!

Mollie absolutely crushed it. We didn't give her much direction at all, and she still was able to perfectly hit the right vibe for our wedding. Our cakes were beautifully decorated (simple, modern, elegant) and were so yummy! People couldn't stop talking about them. Chocolate salted caramel was the winner, but every flavor we had was divine (confetti; corn cake with rhubarb compote). Mollie is great to work with and you'll be so so happy with the outcome!

Mollie helped us celebrate our pandemic wedding in August 2020 by baking (and helping to personally deliver) a beautiful. The cake was out of this world delicious; and out experience with Mollie was easy from start to finish. She was very flexible as our plans changed not once, twice, or even three times due to COVID. We had to downgrade from macrons and a dessert bar to just one cutting cake, but even so, Mollie was wonderful and worked with us each step of the way. Plus, the price point was incredible considering the quality of ingredients used. We plan to get an anniversary cake from Rebel Pioneer every year!!

Rebel Pioneer Bakery is hands down the best bakery in Reno. I have ordered many different desserts from Mollie, and every single one has been more than I could ever dream of. From wedding cakes, to macarons, to salted caramel that I will eat straight from the jar with a spoon, I am in love with everything that I have ever gotten my hands on.

I am always happily surprised at the creativity, selection of ingredients/products and quality of Mollie’s work. She has made cakes for us on a number of occasions and they’ve been beautiful and delicious!

I can't say enough about how wonderful Molly is, both as a human and as a baker! We had so many unexpected things come up while planning the wedding (pre-Covid!), and she was so caring and understanding throughout them all. We had to cancel our tasting last minute because of a white-out and all access into Tahoe was closed (we lived in San Diego and were planning on traveling up), and Molly offered to try to sell our tester cake on Instagram (which she did quickly because...her cakes are amazing) so that we wouldn't have to pay for it since we couldn't get there.

For our wedding cakes (she did two!), she was so creative and easy to communicate with. My husband and I have very different favorite flavors, and she was able to accommodate both of our wishes between the two cakes - and they were incredible. I showed her some pictures of cakes that I liked the look/vibe of, and her cakes turned out even MORE beautiful than the examples I had shown her. She is truly an incredible artist!

Working with Molly was one of the highlights of our wedding planning, and I wanted to be able to remember it forever. She had drawn a sketch of our two cakes before the wedding to show me what her designs would look like. After the wedding I asked if she still had that sketch because I wanted to frame it and put it up in our kitchen. She still had it and mailed it to me and to this day it's hanging in our kitchen!

I wish we lived in Reno so I could enjoy her baked goods and cakes for every special occasion. You will not regret working with her, both your heart and your stomach will be happy :)

Mollie was amazing to work with and made the cake of my dreams! We did a donut wall for larger dessert but wanted a cutting cake and I had a pretty specific vision. Boy, did Mollie deliver! Mollie went above and beyond to make our wedding dessert perfect- she made us a variety of delicious cupcake flavors, worked with our florist to make a simple wedding cake with greenery that tied into our florals and made adorable Lake Tahoe sugar cookies. She was patient as we sampled and debated different flavor options and hand delivered everything to our wedding site day of. Wedding planning can be stressful- Mollie helped make the dessert selection process as easy as possible and her kind and friendly demeanor in all our interactions with her were unmatched. Not to mention her cakes, cupcakes and cookies were delicious and everyone loved them!
