Maureen, Ravenwood's new even coordinator, has been nothing short of professional as well as accomidating. We are planning our wedding from 4 hours away and she is taking out any stress associated with the long distance.

I just can't say enough good things about the castle, and the innkeeper staff. They took excellent care of us throughout our stay, and were always on top of all of our needs.

The one downside is that, due to lack of cell service or WiFi at the castle, sometimes it could take awhile to get back to us. In the technological age that we live in, it can be easy to get impatient when we haven't heard back in 30 minutes. ;)

That said, on site, it was awesome not to have cell service, because people hung out with each other, not their phones. Friends made friends with other friends, and that was awesome.

Not to mention, you cannot go wrong getting married in front of a castle. it was perfectly epic.

This vendor was a nightmare to work with at the start. Pam, the owner, would tell us one thing and then turn around and tell us the opposite. Their website says they can do up to 150 people weddings but there is NO place to comfortably fit 150 people. They almost wouldnt even let us have it in front of the castle! Te reception was off in the woods, not near the castle like we had originally talked about. The few weeks before the wedding they got a new guy on bored named zack, and if it wasnt for him the castle would have been a 0 star. But he helped my mother and I out SO much! He was a blessing! After the wedding we found out that Pam lied to us on several prices and over charged us, resulting in her having to refund 1,000 dollars! Working with them was a very very rough road, Every day seemed to be something new and something frustrating that made my life a nervous mess.With it all being said and done the location was beautiful and the guests who stayed the whole weekend loved it! The rooms were beautiful and it made for a magical weekend, with great pictures. I would ONLY recommend this vendor if the person would deal with Zach and NO ONE ELSE. he is the onley helpfull person who will get back to someone right away.
