GIFT! What can I say beyond Raven has a God-given gift to direct, curate, and produce weddings and special events. We hired Raven for full services for our wedding based on the referral of a close family friend and one in-person meeting with Raven. We went into the meeting expecting to elect for one month out service. By the end of the meeting, we knew we needed to go with Raven’s full-service expertise. Raven is extremely detail oriented, attentive, communicative, organized, compassionate, and truly loves what she does.

Raven made it a point to listen to every detail we shared and truly brought our desires to fruition. We were mesmerized on our Wedding day. We walked into the room and Raven had incorporated every detail into our venue and special day. Raven made us feel special. I know it’s cheesy but it is the truth, we were not just another couple, we were valued and important. Who doesn’t want to feel special when they are planning something as significant as a wedding?

We were planning our wedding while my husband and I were living in two different countries! Raven made every moment and to-do item seamless. Raven met with us multiple times, provided frequent updates and check-ins, and used an exceptionally productive online program to keep us on track. Raven was incredibly professional, humble, and simply easy to get along with. Raven guided us through an amazing and stressful time in our lives with ease. Raven also has an incredibly extensive network, meaning working with Raven takes away the time-consuming task of identifying venues and vendors. We shared the aspects that we wanted and Raven sent over recommendations for us to simply say yes or no to, removing so much stress from the process.

Raven J Events, was the absolute best wedding planning company! She was extremely meticulous in handling every detail of our renewal wedding. She took a personal interest and utmost passion in ensuring that our special event was unforgettable!

My husband insisted that I have a wedding planner if for nothing but the day of. I thought I could handle it on my own without one since i had most of the wedding planned. But he wasn't having it. We met with another planner at first thought they were the one but didn't receive a response when we reached out to make a deposit. So I had to go on a hunt once again. Emailed another and nothing. So I was staring to worry, though I had time, I hadn't budgeted for a planner so I need to figure it out quick. I was searching here on Weddingwire for another planner but they didn't have a website, but Raven showed up an alternative. I immediately went to her website and was impressed, emailed her directly and we met within a week. My son was sold, he flirted the entire first meeting. We left there making a deposit. Raven and her assistant were on point on my wedding day. Things I didn't think about she did, and she make sure that my wedding started on time. I didn't want my guests waiting. She even made sure all the traditional things that should have happened were ready to happen (garter toss, toast, bouquet toss) though we didn't do them. I am so, so, so glad that I was able to book her for my special day. Maybe one day I will be as professional to a bride on her day as I help her navigate through her wedding. I had to rate Raven and her wonderful team a perfect score on all of the points. Raven was so great that every time my family or friends met her throughout the process they had so many great things to say. She was so professional and personable! She kept me on my toes even though I thought I knew everything since I've planned my wedding since childhood. She helped me with every little detail that I would have never imagined had to be thought about. On my wedding day we would have been like every other wedding my family and I complain about that's running super late. If it wasn't for Raven keeping us on target with time and giving us cues for various minute marks we would have never been on time for the time line that was set for the day. Raven's team was also amazing! My florist didn't sprinkle the petals for ceremony like I wanted so her team did so reminding me of the scene in Coming to America moving so gracefully and they all had great attitudes and spirits throughout the evening. My mom was against me "wasting" money on a wedding planner, but when her and I went to one of Raven's events my mom was sold with her professionalism and enthusiasm and realized how we needed her in our lives. Raven's services was money well spent and saved me from a lot of gray hair and time keeping. Raven always says thanks for letting her be a small part in our wedding but she was definitely a major part of the whole process! I booked for the month of coordination which means she will start working with you about two months from date but you're able to text, call, or email all you want for anything from advice to vender ideas. Like I said before money well spent and if I have a vowel renewal she will definitely be my first call, No Doubt!

When I met Raven for our initial interview, I knew she was going to be my planner within minutes. Now you have to understand, I interviewed 3 or 4vendors for each thing I did for my wedding so this was a big deal that I interviewed her only and chose her right away! I was not proven wrong! I feel so lucky to have had her as my planner! She was so organized and thinks of everything! She made my day so easy, I had no worries because she took care of everything! She is Rock star, she was my day-of-planner, but she went far above and beyond that! She started working with me a month ahead of time and basically pulled together everything for me. I got rave reviews about her from so many vendors and family members and it just goes to show how good she is. She is great at what she does and anyone who gets her is lucky to have her. I want to plan an event just to have her be my planner and I'm already recommending her to people!
