Rabbi Reuben Modek
About
Shalom and greetings from us, Rabbi Reuben Modek and Cantor Adam Feder. Based in Nyack, New York, we officiate beautiful ceremonies inspired by each couple's unique needs and values. You may desire a destination wedding in Israel or elsewhere or select to have your ceremony close to home. Congratulations on taking this special step in your relationship. We will sensitively and joyfully serve as your guide(s) through the wedding process, from planning to the big day itself. We take time to get to know you so we can curate an unforgettable ceremony. For us, planning your wedding is a co-creative process ultimately guided by both of you. Rooted in Jewish tradition and with an open heart to the uniqueness of each couple, we look forward to celebrating your love and commitment with a ceremony that is right for you - traditional, interfaith, same-sex, or spiritual. Cantor Feder, who is also a licensed Interfaith Minister, and Rabbi Modek, both possess academic counseling credentials. We offer you the option for marriage empowerment sessions (pre-marital counseling). Either way, we are committed to being right there with you to match your style and needs. While this dynamic duo loves officiating together, it will be your choice whether to have one of us or both of us as your officiant.
If you are considering a destination wedding in Israel or elsewhere, we have you covered. Rabbi Reuben spends summers in Israel and loves traveling. Some of our couples have invited us to help celebrate their growing families with baby naming ceremonies, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, and more. We can’t wait to hear from you and look forward to being there for you.
Additionally, “The Shul Band”, Cantor Adam’s virtuoso world music ensemble, is available for your wedding reception and party. Feel free to ask us about our package deal.
