I am so glad we chose Queen Anne’s loft to have our wedding reception. Amanda was very easy to communicate with and always answered my questions in a timely manner and very flexible with our timetable. The venue is beautiful. We chose it because we knew we would not have to spend money on a lot of decor because that space is elegant and beautiful as it is. The food is also excellent, my guests really enjoyed their meal. I am so glad we chose Queen Anne’s loft as our reception location and would highly recommend them for any event.

We selected QAL as the venue for our rehearsal dinner & welcome drinks for our wedding. We cannot say enough nice things about the venue, staff, and how great they made our night. Both events went flawlessly and we received countless compliments on how beautiful the event space was and how good the food was. From a planning perspective, Amanda was incredibly organized, responsive, and friendly. We worked with tons of vendors for our weekend, and you could tell that Amanda knows what she's doing. This is really a hidden gem in Newport. 10/10 would recommend.

What a beautiful place! We were coming from out of state so all of our planning was via email and phone conversations. Amanda was always prompt to respond to my questions, flexible with changes and so very helpful with suggestions. The evening was a huge success. All staff were friendly and attentive. They helped make it a perfect party. The food was delicious, too!

We had our ceremony & reception at Queen Anne's 5/8/21. After learning our original venue could not host us, we reached out to Amanda for options. I couldn't be happier that we did. She was responsive and helpful which was important during this crazy planning process. She even helped us find a spot for our after party. Amanda guided us during our rehearsal and set up everything perfectly the day of. We booked Queen Anne's without seeing it in person, and trusting the social media pictures. The venue is even more beautiful in person. We had 45 people and this was the perfect spot for our intimate celebration. We were able to take pictures in the park close by and walked across the street for pictures by the water. If you are looking for a venue for a smaller celebration please do not think twice about Queen Anne's.

Wow. I don't even know where to begin. Queen Anne's Loft is the perfect venue in the heart of Newport. Not only is it beautiful, intimate and versatile, it's a one stop shop for all of your needs. Beautiful location, incredible food, service and price. Amanda is beyond incredible. From the moment we met, she was responsive, kind, helpful, knowledgeable for our many, many questions and just wonderful to work with. Honestly, Queen Anne's Loft is a hidden gem that you do not want to miss. We highly recommend Queen Anne's Loft and plan to host many events in the future. Thank you for EVERYTHING Amanda!!

When my plans shifted due to the COVID19 pandemic and my “large wedding” was moved to 2021, my wedding planner suggested Queen Anne’s Loft for our small reception. After seeing pictures and having viewed the venue, I did not even consider another location!

This space truly has it all and could be customized easily given the simple yet upscale feel. Every aspect of the venue was clean, airy and sophisticated, from the quirky yet tasteful tiles in the bathroom to the mother of pearl detailing on the bar, and the STUNNING crystal chandelier. The mirrors made the room feel large and open, while the well appointed details of the room made it feel intimate and warm for a group of my size. Not that you can plan this, but the sunset was unreal and the view of the harbor coupled with the sunset made for a perfect backdrop.

Though I don’t think many couples eat at their wedding I was fortunate enough to be able to enjoy both the appetizer and (vegetarian) entree— both of which were delicious and the presentation matched the upscale feel of the venue. My dad and husband shared that the steak was the delicious and my mom shared that the fish was the best she had had in a long time! Multiple guests complimented the food and presentation, as well as beer/wine selection.

Overall Amanda, the owner and coordinator, worked with my wedding planner to make it so that our “plan B” wedding felt like the wedding of my dreams! I cannot thank them enough for how perfect everything was. If I could do it over again I would not change a thing, aside from maybe trying to make the night last longer :).

I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to have a rehearsal dinner, shower, or reception/wedding in downtown Newport. It truly checked all boxed and was affordable as well!

We held our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at Queen Anne's Loft and it was the PERFECT place to have it! We had a dinner for 50 people which was easily accommodated (loved the lobster boil!) and easily transitioned to the welcome drinks for the rest of the invited guests! The space was beautifully transformed and looked amazing- our guests couldn't stop commenting how nice it was! And it's in such a great location right downtown so it was easy for everyone to get to and we held our rehearsal right outside in Queen Anne's Square before dinner! Thank you Amanda for everything!

We would not change a thing about our decision to host our rehearsal dinner/welcome with Queen Anne's Loft. Amanda was the best - extremely attentive both in advance of and during the event. She was accommodating and professional and helped guide us through all the twists and turns. Huge menu options and the food was all fantastic. The space was beautiful and didn't require any additional decor. We had a rather large seated dinner at between 110-120 followed by speeches and Amanda helped plan the space perfectly. Though it was on the high end of capacity, we were able to easily move around the room and she managed a perfect cocktail reception with passed apps followed by dinner and the welcome. I would unequivocally recommend going with this venue; she was the best.

Planning a holiday luncheon for 50 women in my garden club with Amanda was a breeze!
It's not often you can please everyone in a group, thank you QAL for a beautiful venue, excellent service and delicious food!!
