These guys were amazing! I cannot say enough about their food and professionalism! Everyone at my daughter’s wedding raved about the food…. My daughter (and several bridesmaids) are vegetarian….and Dwayne handled like he did vegetarian menus every day! I would definitely hire them again!

If you are looking for a caterer in the Shenandoah Valley in VA (or within a 50 mile radius) or in West VA, look no further! Dwayne Propst & Puttin' on the Ritz Catering will make your wedding day DELICIOUS!!! I struggled to find a caterer within our grad student budget range, but Dwayne worked with us to develop a flavorful, affordable menu that allowed us to feed our 100 guests and still have leftovers! We chose comfort food entrees like BBQ chicken and brisket, but his menu and services run the gamut from country picnic to five-star formal. He is such a kind, hardworking person who is willing to go the extra mile to meet your needs. I can't say enough positive things about working with Dwayne, from the hour long phone conversation he held with my mom and I to discuss the menu to the super fun tasting he set up for us (complete with linens, glassware, and freshly cooked food!) in a local park to him saving the day with a knife when we forgot the cake cutter and server at our reception! Long story short, book Dwayne before he books up, and your wedding day will taste as good as it feels!

Dwayne catered my wedding reception last week and it was wonderful! Dwayne was super kind and professional. He was very flexible and made us a customized spritzer in addition to the other beverages he provided! I honestly thought trying to hire a caterer would be tough, but Dwayne made it easy.

He was early to set up at the reception and was flexible when my outdoor ceremony had to be moved indoors to the location that he was preparing. He even took the time to set up our dessert table for us even though it wasn't his responsibility (Dwayne must have seen how flustered my bridal party was when everything had to be moved inside). The food was amazing! All of my guests were impressed and enjoyed their meal. I neglected to get the servers names, but they were very sweet. They came by our sweetheart table multiple times to serve me and my husband fresh hot food. My favorites of the meal were the whole roast pig, chicken yakatori, Swedish meatballs, and fried rice.

I highly recommend Putting on the Ritz to anyone who wants delicious food and hospitable service.

Dwayne and his staff were nothing short of professional, accommodating, and fun to work with. He came to our home for a personal tasting and when the big day rolled around, everyone raved about the food and service! Would recommend for any large or small event you want done right!

Puttin On The Ritz catered our wedding and did a phenomenal job! You cannot find a better value for a caterer anywhere in VA! Dwayne's menu options are so flexible and there's so much to choose from. We got many compliments from guests on our wedding dinner, particularly the lasagna prima vera and the glazed carrots! Dwayne's staff was also very respectful of COVID protocols and, per our request, had no issue with safely serving appetizers individually during cocktail hour, mixing & serving our specialty cocktails, providing a staff served buffet, and cutting/serving our wedding cake. Dwayne and his team were awesome !
