When my wife and I were planning our wedding last June, we knew one place that we absolutely had to have top shelf quality and professionalism was our wedding photography. We wanted someone who could capture spontaneous moments without being in the way. Having chosen to not go with any video (because let's be honest, no one ever wants to watch that...Photos are so much better at capturing the moment.) From the moment we saw Preston's work, we knew we were done searching. We met him at Book bar on Tennyson to chat and the chemistry was there from the first moment. He captures the moments as they happen spontaneously and never asks anyone to pose or gets in the way. In fact one of the things we noticed (and a lot of our friends who were present that day also noticed) was that they never seemed to remember seeing Preston during our ceremony but he got amazing shots from a multitude of different angles. Preston is a super nice guy, very easy to work with, a consummate professional and a master of his craft. My wife and I have already recommended him to several other couples in the Denver area and will continue to do so. Every time my wife and I look through the photos, we are flooded with nostalgia and love for that special day, and Preston absolutely did a phenomenal job in capturing it all.

Look no further. Our entire experience, from start to finish, was spectacular. When we started looking for a photographer, we knew we wanted someone who was going to capture the moments that captured the natural moments of our special day, almost a photojournalistic approach. Reviewing Preston's website gave us that impression right away, but meeting him in person just added to his level of professionalism & raw talent. Preston took the opportunity to get to know us through our initial meet up, through email, our engagement shoot, & drinks prior to our big day. He was very well organized at each stage & ALWAYS made us feel like we were in good hands. While we wanted him to capture our wedding in his own style, he took diligent notes to capture what was important to us. Not just specific shots, but he picked up on mannerisms, what makes my wife blush, & how she actually get me to smile. When it came to our wedding day he dressed the part & was a great sport with all of our guests, even when an older uncle decided to jump into some of our shots capturing his own photos with his iPad. Preston had a very professional crew & was able to capture each moment that made up our special day. His artistic approach captured different feels, tones, & emotions in the photos he captured. We interviewed a number of different photographers, but wouldn't choose anyone other than Preston if we had to do it all over again. He's talented, professional, courteous, sneaky funny, & an all-around pleasure to work with.

Preston beautifully told the story of our 15-guest wedding through his thoughtful photographs. He masterfully balanced his artistry with his respect for capturing the authenticity of the event. We were most impressed when we received our photos and realized that he had managed to photograph subtle and beautiful moments without us even realizing he was nearby. For instance, he somehow captured a picture of my hand-written vows from over my shoulder. I was searching the web for inspiration on mountain weddings when I came across these amazing scenic black and white photos. Not all were black and white but the ones that were I just loved. The wedding was in Estes park and I wanted everything that that wedding entailed. I contacted Preston immediately. Preston is down to earth, professional and oh so talented. We had our (snowy) mountain wedding and of course there are always hiccups, but somehow Preston captured every moment perfectly. I am so grateful we found him. I will forever love those images. We wanted to do something different, "off the beaten path." Helen and I found a secluded meadow in the mountains and knew it was the right spot. We invited our immediate families to celebrate with us, and asked Preston to join to take photos. It was definitely a unique thing to ask - to join such a small, intimate group, in this type of setting. Preston was immediately comfortable, and we're so glad he was there to capture the afternoon. He was super professional, but also laid back and felt like a part of the group. We recommend him and have only great things to say!

A big wedding priority to us was having a great photographer as we knew the whole engagement and wedding would fly by and we would want to have quality memories. We were referred to Preston by multiple friends so we were confident in his product, but the whole experience with him truly exceeded all expectations.

Preston made a real effort to get to know us as a couple and provide a personalized experience. We had multiple meetings with him and he was very responsive to all of our questions.

We had the pleasure of doing an engagement shoot with him, which was very helpful to allow us to feel more comfortable behind the camera before the wedding, and was nice to have professional pictures of us in everyday clothes. Preston choose scenic and creative locations for the engagement pictures, and we were able to use the great photos as a guest book at the wedding.

Preston was very flexible with us and allowed us to make changes and upgrade our wedding package at the very last minute to allow for extra time, an additional photographer, and a wedding book. We were very happy with our upgrade, and the book turned out fantastic. He compiled the photos in such an artistic way that we would have not been able to do ourselves and used very high quality paper and cover.

Preston was timely in editing our photos and we were thrilled with the gallery. He even sent us a thoughtful care package of prints after, which was such a fun surprise.

We would highly recommend Preston's services to anyone getting married, it was a real pleasure and such a great value for the experience.

My wife Tori and I used Preston for both our engagement shots and our wedding photos. We could not have been happier with the way all of our photos turned out! Preston was extremely easy to work with and made us both feel very comfortable. He has a great eye for capturing both the beauty of the natural environment as well as the subjects in his photos. (He even threw in a bonus photo shoot a few days after our wedding to capture some more shots as our post-ceremony shoot was cut a little short due to weather).
