Spoiler alert: I've known Jamal since high school and he took me to prom when my boyfriend, now husband, broke up with me.
Imagine my fiancé's laughter when I told him that! Jamal and my fiancé conspired to make sure that I rested during our honeymoon. Their plan: a resort with enough variety that I wouldn't want to travel off-site -- too much. Excellence at Punta Cana, DR met all of my requirements: warm, FOOD, swimming and something historical (I had ONE day to tour). Great job!
For our wedding night and guest lodging, Jamal jumped in and got the hotel to call him back. I had been waiting over a week. He set up the rate and location we wanted. Guests had a quick drive or bus ride w/ walk (Brooklyn, NY) to the church. When the hotel messed up the bridal suite (REALLY Marriott??!) Jamal contacted them on our behalf.
We had ZERO worries throughout our travel process. I think after my ring, the honeymoon was the first thing my fiancé paid off. He's happy with the expense and service. -Hey, Jamal! King Knights Forever!-
