Premier Catering and Events did a fantastic job on our wedding. We worked with Laura, the owner. She was there for us every step of the way from the tasting to the end of the reception. We chose Premier because they were very prompt and responsive to all our questions, and the price they quoted us was SO reasonable. They handled all our rentals (tables, chairs, linens, etc) in addition to all food and drinks (except our cake). Laura also coordinated with all our other vendors so we didn't have to worry about a thing the day of our wedding. She was there the whole time from set up to break down. The staff was helpful, capable, and friendly. The food and drinks were delicious and nicely presented. They also happily accommodated our gluten free and vegan guests as well as my request to serve glasses of milk with our cake. I can honestly say I am completely thrilled with how my wedding went, and a large part of the credit for that goes to everyone at Premier Catering and Events.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Best Catering Team EVER. Why, you might ask. Well that's because we had our ceremony and reception in a wind tunnel. We were married under the rotunda at the palace of fine arts on what is usually a beautiful still day. Instead we had a beautiful windy day. It was very windy, glasses and a table blowing over windy. That doesn't make it easy to serve a hot meal. Premiere Catering did an amazing job. Everyone complimented us on how amazing the food was. Every bite from the appetizers, to the entree was hot and delicious. The staff worked in the cold, with things blowing over, with a genuine smile.

Before the wedding, working with Premier Catering was excellent. They were very responsive, friendly, and easy to work with. They also took care of all the event rentals (tables, chairs, etc) for us. Also, we picked them because they were very responsive and by far the cheapest caterer we could find that offered all the services we wanted. I guess we got what we paid for.

The day of the wedding, we were a bit disappointed with their execution. Nothing terrible happened (and also my wedding planner shielded me from any of this during the reception), but the food was really salty. Also, they did not rent enough champagne glasses or silverware, so some people were drinking champagne out of mugs, etc. Not the worst thing in the world, but we actually had fewer people show up than the estimate we gave them (~200 people), so I don't know how you could not have enough, especially considering we were paying per head.

All in all, the catering was probably the only thing in my wedding that didn't go that well. It didn't "ruin" my wedding, but I was disappointed because we had such a positive experience working with them during the planning phase. I wish their execution had been better. I probably wouldn't hire them again if I had to plan another event.
